School district in Toronto

Did anyone know which school district is the best in Toronto?  For both elementary and high school.

I would say the best school district (public school) in Toronto will be North York, particularly around Leslie and York Mills.
Denlow is the #1 Elementary school in Ontario and it is located in that neighbourhood.  York Mills Collegiate is also a very good high school in the same area.

For Secondary Public School, I can only find the 2001 ranking and here it is:

For private school, it will be closer to downtown as the most prestige private schools are there like UCC, Branksome Halls, Cresent Boys, Havergal etc.

George S Henry Academy is a high school.  My sister studied there before.  Here is the link to their website:

Private Schools:
People's Christian Academy
Toronto French School
Bayview Glen....

Public School, for sure Denlow.  It is the #1 elementary school in Ontario.

I personally prefer Toronto as there are many good Universities here,
1. Univeristy of Toronto, a very good "general school"
2. York University, good business school
3. Waterloo, EXCELLENT computer engineering school
4. Wilfred Laurier, good business school
5. Queens

But, in BC, you only have UBC and Simon Fraiser....
Not too many choice....

If you go to highschool in Vancouver, you will need to do the provincial exam before you apply University but if you study in Toronto, Universities will look at the school result because there is no provincial exam in Toronto...

if u are not Canadian,  do not think of public school for elemantry la coz they will not accept .

If you want to apply for public school for secondary school, then you need a 19 age of over to become the guardian

I would like to tell you that if you are Canadian or PR. & want to apply for the North York school board, you need to live in that area ar.  If you live in Markham or Scarborough, they will not let you apply.
