Lingnan Kindergarten vs HK Ling Liang Church

Hi, my son got accepted into both kindergarten's am classes. I need to pay Lingnan's registration fee on the coming Sat. He is also on the waiting list of SKH am but I know the chance is slim. If you were me, which one would you choose? It seems that no one has commented on Lingnan, or have I missed it?

Hi shmon,

My little girl is currently studying in Lingnan now (Pre-nursery).  Both me and her are very like the teachers.  The evironment is quite good.  She learnt a lot since the school started August this year.  She is very happy to go to school everyday.

I am also in the waiting list of SKH.  Because it is more near to my home.

My son is at Lingnan am prenursery now.
He loves going to school each day. He's picked up a lot of cantonese since school started (English is his first language). The teachers have been patient and they teach quite a lot of self-care. The general view is that Lingnan's standard seems a little "simple" and there's not much English teaching but the kids are happy.
We'll be sending my son to SKH Mt Butler next year.

Thanks for your comments. Do you know to which primary schools the graduates of Lingnan normally go? Is the academic standard of SKH better than Lingnan so that you plan to send your child to SKH?

Any other parents share their views on Lingnan? Why parents apply for other kindergartens' K1 after their kids completed Pre-nursery in Lingnan? Also, does Lingnan's tuition fees meet the requirement under 學

SKH has been our original choice but they don't offer pre-nursery classes. Victoria seems a bit further for us so we picked Lingnan. And no regrets!
The school fees at Lingnan fall just outside the cut-off.
