I am also worry about 若針過了火會變"hyperactive", so when my son's development is going stable after a year, I reduce to go there 3 times a week. sometimes I feel my son 太大力, but Dr. Sun said that is good wor?!
But overall speaking, he has improved a lots, so we will keep going at least he finish kindergarten

不好意思，請問通常要針多久才不用再針？　因長期這樣怕經濟不能負擔，每次$400,每日都要去做. 所需的費用對我來說真是不輕.  所以想知需時多久.

針多久才不用再針？ I think they won't tell u.  First time I came there, they told me at least 20 times, now over 300 times, i still keep going there.
they hv monthly special after 80 times.
How old is yr BB? getting better?

My daughter is 4 yrs old. 她只針了２次． 左手好像鬆了些,腳好像有力些.

你現在都是每日都去針? 你小朋友怎樣?

so far 佢地都冇確實答要做幾耐, 仲同我講話佢醫最耐既足足針左7年.
另外, 我有個朋友, 佢係瑪麗做研究個批自閉兒, 佢做了約半年療程後已沒有什麼進展, 因當時是定期照mri既, 可以睇到進展. 跟着佢就回澳州了.

I saw that there are some 自閉 or hyperactive children are doing 舌針, they also hv improvement (told by parents).  i just worry about our BB still little and truely had brain damage before, 自閉 or hyperactive are not easy to find out at this stage.  
sometimes I just worry 大力 會變"hyperactive and love to play a same toy 會變自閉

Anyway, i hv to trust Dr Sun and pray cos I can't find any better way.

beaglelam, 自閉是先天性的, 不會針針下變自閉!

barney, 我今日十點九先到, 相信你已做完走了! 我推BB車搭MTR, 都要45分鐘, 因天后站無lift落去, 我同BB要行去CWB站搭! 去就要45mins, 去到針一分鐘就返出來! D時間真唔見駛!

咁大家都要留意多d佢地既發展. 你可以跟足 d, 因你係 full time mum, 我時時都好驚, 驚自己睇唔到, 放工返到屋企都 8:00 , 10:00 bb 就要食奶奶 , 訓覺 la, 前後得番 2 個鐘同佢玩.

今日係我老公帶, 佢應該都差不多 10:45 去到, 仲話孫教授唔知去左邊, 仲等左半個鐘. 究竟你 bb 幾大個, 驚撞到都唔知係你   
  住天后都要 45 mins, 我係元朗去都係1個鐘咋.  我唔會推BB車, 我會揹住, 方便d, 行都行得快d, 我帶佢返屋企之後, 仲要趕住返工.

咁我昨日無見到你老公及阿B, 我只見另外二個媽咪及仔仔, 我阿B好heavy啦(30+months), 如果落雨搭的士我都會揹, 但多數推車仔, 搭MTR行上行落, 又要等lift真係好耐, 我地今日十點二去到, 針完換埋片, 又同姑娘講完一輪都唔見再有人來先走, 我相信我地終有一日會見! 我個仔叫恒恒! 你好趕, 同個仔針完又返去元朗再返工, 不過你份工應該freeD!

我昨天去孫教授既時候, 佢無嗱嗱同我講話 mo仔可以好番, 行路 / 智力都會冇問題, 佢咁肯定斷估唔會信口開河啩. 攪到我開心到而家.

基本上我日日 都去, 連 sunday 都去埋, 不過今日要返e院复診, 所以先冇去. 睇下聽日有冇機會.

my son had VSD surgery at 4 1/2 months old. He has developed Epilepsy(infantile spasms) afterwards. Dr. said it is possibly because of lacking oxygen after surgery. The worse thing is we found that he has 腦出血also 4 months later. He then did 2 surgeries to remove the blood. He has severe developmental delay - he is now 12 months old but acts like a newborn baby. I keep doing the OT & PT(at PWH) with him but the improvement is pretty slow. I would also like to try 舌針 but very worried that may be very painful. I got Dr. Sun's information from some newspaper but am still worried that it is not true and now seems from the comments in this forum, the result is quite positive. Infantile spasms is a very uncommon type of Epilesy and is very difficult to treat. Does anyone know about this?
