請問有無人知英文"so 和 sｏthat",  "other 和 another"的分別及用法．煩請告知．

so 可以係問題also可以係connective word(所以)
而so that就一定係connective word(所以)
其實"that"係可有可冇
eg1:
tom is rich so he can buy anything he want
tom is rich so "that" he can buy anything he want
eg1:(passive voice都係,,,)
mr lee said he was very tried,,,or
mr lee said "that" he was very tried
meaning係一樣ge
但有d人覺得有"that"順口d...而且作文又可以計多個字~
so就有"so"同"so that"ge分別la

1) other - 另外的xx, 其他的xx
2) another - 另一個人或物 (單數)
3) others - 另外的(眾數), 其他的(眾數) 之前或之後嗰句會註明是指甚麼

***用法***

1) other+noun (usually plural)
eg
i) Tim is very generous. He also has OTHER qualities, such as kind and humourous.
Tim 很慷慨。他也有另外的條件，如慈詳和幽默。

ii) If you did not get this job, there are OTHER places you can try.
如果你得不到這份工，有其他地方你可以嘗試。

iii) Beside Paris, there are OTHER cities in France I want to visit.
除巴黎外，法國內有其他的城市是我想去觀光的。

2) another+noun (singular!!!) or another+one
eg
i) This blanket is not thick enough. I need ANOTHER blanket. OR
This blanket is not thick enough. I need ANOTHER one.

‘so’解作「所以」，表示兩個詞語，詞組或句字之間的「因果」關係。放在’so’之前的是原因，在’so’之後的是結果。

e.g. 1) It was very hot so we turned on the fan.
          2) I’m very tired, so I’m going to stay at home today.

‘so that’解作「為了、以便、以致、結果是」，是因為後面的關係，而產生前面既動作、行為。

e.g. 1) You have to explain clearly so that all the pupils may understand you.
          2) I’m going to spend much time on study so that I can easily pass the examination.

‘another’解作「另一、再一、額外的」。可用於單數可數名詞之前，亦可用於一個數字詞組，以表示多於「一」的額外/事/物。

e.g. 1) Please give me another spoon.
       2) Would you like another cup of coffee?

‘other’解作「其他的、另外的」。可用於單數、復數名詞或不可數之名詞前。可跟其他限定詞，例如 'some’、’the’一起使用。

e.g. 1) Is there any other bread?
       2) There are other ways to do this sum.
