Tsuen Wan Nursury-which one you choose?

hi all mum,

I plan to let my baby boy goes to nursury class in April 07, is not considering below options:

1. St. Monica, in Belverdere Garden/Tsuen Wan

Good points:
- near my home, 3 minutes walking distance
- cheaper tuition fee ($2,200 per month)

Bad points:
- the school is quite small and old
- no outdoor playground for children
- no foreign teacher for English class

2. Funful, in Discovery Park/Tsuen Wan

Good point:
- foreign teacher for English class, 30 minutes per day           
- not far away (need to take mini-bus, door to door travel time around 10 minutes)
- the school envoirment is quite big and nice

Bad point:
- no outdoor playground
- some parents say it's too commercial
- no fixed classroom (floating class)
- school fee around HK$3000 per month, plus around HK$400 transportation fee (but $ is not a very significant factor)

3. Creative (in Tsing Yi or Ma Wan)

Good points:
- Nice school envoirment
- have outdoor playground
- many parents says their children love to go to school (happy school life)

Bad points:
- quite far away (need to take school bus, may takes around 30 minutes)
- no English class in nursury class
- school fee $2680 per month, plus $600 school bus (again, may take in a/c, but not a very significant factor in the decision)

If you were me, which one you will choose? and why?  Thank you for your help in advance.

Why these 3??

For private school:
I prefer 迦南國際 - I heard that they have foreign teacher for english lesson too.

There is also 學之園 in tsing yi

There are many other choices and I think the three you listed are not the most popular choices for this district.

Thank you for your information.  I will take a look at迦南國際, but for 學之園, I think it's a little bit expensive for me.

Thanks for the analysis, I'm also considering putting my BB to nursery at the age of 2, ie, April 07.

For Creative (Tsing Yi): they admit kids of 3 - 6 yrs old only?  I found this info in their home page...

Creative (Ma Wan): they will have open day this Sat (28 Oct), will you go and have a chat with the teacher?  And, in that morning 10:00 am, 校監趙博士will have an orientation talk.

May I know if you've considered Cannan and how's your comment?

Hi Mao,

1/. No, Creative Tsing Yi has n1 class for children at 2/. yes, I will go to the open day on this Sat afternoon, but can't join the orientation session, because my bb need to attend an interview at St. Monica in the morning.
3/. actually, I am not very familiar with kindergarten stuff, so don't aware that Canan is good.  But I will take a look of this.

BTW, your's also a 2005 March baby?
