培正, 宣道, 我無報, 因不喜歡傳統教學.

有報Kowloon Tong Primary, 因是愉快學習. 而且成績不錯.

From 九龍塘學校的的網頁，教學模式：活動及傳統教學相結合。

以一般人的習慣劃分活動教學和傳統教學來說，九龍塘學校是傳統教學的。九龍塘學校程度高，如果小朋友的幼稚園是比較淺和寫字比較少，小一上學期適應時，可能會辛苦些。

No. KTS is not a traditional school. Only 4 pieces of homework each day. Not many writing to do. 2 tests and 2 exams in each academic yr. A lot of activities. My daughter was graduated from St. Cat and she can still manage well with her study. KTS has prep classes during summer holidays for the 'will be' P1 studens to join and get themselves ready for their study in Sept. Mandarin is the medium for the Chinese lessons, Eng. general studies, Chinese & Eng. for Maths, and a very nice school environment with many plants.

唔係活動教學就係傳統啦, 傳統教學唔=多功課, 喇沙都係唔多功課(睇小朋友個別既speed, 抄寫都唔多), 一樣有好多activities, 又係2tests & 2 exams....咁佢地都屬於傳統教學, 唔明同 KTS有咩分別囉

喇沙由07年開始轉活動教學，所以會減少收生。

如果私校轉活動教學，又要有傳統教學的學習效果，收生就要減少，而學費就必然倍增。

而家喇沙一班成39人x6, cut左之後都起碼有35人,同埋都未有聽學校邊方面轉活動教學, 一間咁注重學術既學校,唔通會廢除默書同test ??要默書即要死記,不停溫習, 而功課又無少到,只係教學既方式change左, 反而學校加強英語教學仲好, 因而家係中文小學, 而中文又唔係用pth教.

培正和其他小學一樣
我的感覺是培正和其他小學一樣，所教的又有幾多學生明白，如果雙親在上班，沒時間為子女溫書，子女在校的成績會很困難。
培正小一的課本不是難，而是太快，6歲的孩子真的明白嗎，就像一隻快要被劏的鴨子一樣，掛在那裡三天，主人不停地餵食再去劏。
我看到很多小一生很辛苦，我問自己女兒有壓力嗎，她說很辛苦，每天從放學回家(4:30pm-8:30pm)，做足四個小時功課，吃完飯就上床睡覺，玩的時間全沒有，久而久之會對學習失去興趣。
各位培正小一家長有何意見。

I am not PC's parents.  My friends do.

There are four of them. All sons.  One is at Primary 2 and the rest are at Primary 5.

These kids are amazing!!! They can spell so many vocabulary.  From my observation and experience, they at least know 20 times of vocabulary more than others.  Their music performance are quite strong as well.  Other than that, I don't see any other different or outstanding performance from them.

But there is no free lunch and you have to PAY for PLAY. They spend most of the time to prepare for dictations and exams and the kids usually go to bed at 11:30pm.  They live under threatens everyday since they fear that their sons would not be able to promote to higher grades.  Poor parents.

I have friend who are the parent of kid in KTS, they said they are so tired because of heavy workload(homework).
I also have friend who are parents of of PC, one common opinion is Putunghua is strong but English is a bit weaker.

But all in alll, I do believe every child have different character and abilities which can suit to different schools.......

是為免網友以為 KTS 是一般人習慣說的"活動教學"模式。

事實 KTS 是活動及傳統相結合的教學法。(我個人覺得是傳統為主，活動為輔)

同意。

並且要留意，K3 上小一，是由一個階段進入另一個比較難的階段，P1 很多新事情小朋友要適應，如果 K3 的暑假以為是放大假，連幼稚園所學的也忘記了一部份，則 P1 進度上可能跟得吃力......已失敗了一半......
