大家好!我是新會員,國內長大,普通話老師,對啟新中文老師的普通話發音用詞及表達能力都非常滿意,她們說得很自然毫不吃力, 未因在港呆久了而粵化,只是真的希望到中學甚至高中才引入簡體字.

其實阿女都曾經講過中文老師的普通話好好聽，佢都好鍾意上中文堂．而我也有像你的睇法，希望打好個繁體中文字的基礎，先至再學簡體都唔遲．

對! 我來港時看繁體字要花挺長時間才看得懂,寫得好.  但香港人去國內或看簡體電郵甚麼的, 沒啥難度, 很快就適應了.

小孩生活在繁體社會, 不學或不會看, 會降低對中文的興趣, 身邊的文字沒有吸引力, 內容跟自身無關......

Kidding, have you heard there is calligraphy in simplify Chinese. Learning Traditional is not that hard wor.

不用"movement" 啦, 看了newsletter, 學校讓中文強的孩子主繁副簡, 不會轉簡去繁. 只要有拼音, 孩子可以應付.

我朋友由kingstom轉去RC, 佢係大陸去外國讀書再留港, 佢話俾我聽淨係有一個老師係台灣口音, 其他都好標準.

Dear Friends

I have been in the RC parent's day this afternoon.  I managed to sign up  time slot for the Chinese teacher.

It was clarified that the student in the Chinese class with English background will be taught the simplied Chinese character.  For those with chinese background or support will be taught with traditional Chinese character.

My son was assigned to the Chinese class with English background.  I am thinking of switching him back to the Chinese class with Chinese back ground.

It is better check it out with your child.  If the teacher explain the lesson in English, then he/she is in the Chinese class with English background.
