請問大家對參加一啲小一面試訓練班有咩睇法?

聽完家長講坐,我都幾抗拒呢啲訓練班,要去大半年,又怕提早加重對小朋友嘅壓力(因為個主持人都幾hardsell,怕佢地响上課時不斷remind 小朋友要面對好多對手),但聽佢講又好似參加咗會得到多啲面試嘅資料. 好矛盾.請問有冇人啲小朋友參加過,可吾可以俾啲意見?

My son does not attend these classes. However, many of his school friends are attended.

Compared with the performance of them in recent interview, I don't think there is significant difference.

From what I observe directly in the interview, my son answer the questions with the most stright forward/reflex action answers. I think most children under stress will like this despite any intensive training beforehand.

對有豐富面試的老師或校長來説,若曾參加面試班的小朋友所答的答案, 他們一聽便知道, 他們更會真接問小朋友有否參加這些班, 無論小朋友表現得如何出色他們會扣這些小朋友之分數. 所以絶不建議參加此類面試班. 我同事的囡囡考入了一問名校, 但他告訢我面試時老師會直接問小朋友父母有否帶其參加這些班. 事實上小朋友平時父母在小朋友待人接物上教養及訓練有數, 表現自然, 到面試時就會得到最好效果, 也不是一時三刻之間谷得到的.

I agree it is a waste of time and money too.  Just let them be themselves is OK. Fasle matching will be a nightmare for the kids in future.

My son told me he doesn't like DBSPD after 1st interview.  So I won't force him to take 2nd interview even if I am so fortunate to get a chance for 2nd interview.  He also told me he doesn't like GT and when he knows he is on waitlist he said he feels happy.  He got admitted for all schools he told me that he likes e.g. Creative, Logos, and Pegasus. My son did not attend any interview training. I don't do home interview training as well.  I just tell him what may happen during interview and ask him to sleep early and be fresh & polite.

Your son is quite mature as a K3 kid.

I remember my child attended a short course that time, just let him get used to talk with others. Some children won't talk to strangers at the first time. I hope my girl doesn't need to train at this way.
