My son's no. is 4XX.  10:00 -11:00 a.m. on 27/10/06.

Hiii.....

The interview date and time for my son is:

Oct 27....2 to 3 pm for application no. 9xx.

How come the interview to be held on weekday, as normally kids still have to go to school!  Mine is a bit rush to go there from Tin Hau at 1pm.  No lunch?  No rest?  However I treat this interview just a training for my son to meet strangers.  

Good Luck to you all MOM !  At least passing 1st round, then it'll meet my task to apply DBS.  

Let me ask all of you................?  If you're sons so lucky to accept by DBS, are you ready to let your son study there with $3,800 fee/mth ?

it should be 250 students for every time slot, because mine is 45X, and my schedule is at 10:00am

Right... this estimation should be pretty close... and should this is correct, the school is actually taking the Saturday morning off, ha!  To be exact, 1.5 day to finish interviewing all 1700-1800 applicants!  They would be working like a factory!

I also received the letter re interview.  The letter says parents have to leave the campus & return to pick their children up.  Does it mean the first interview is on our kids only & not the parents?  So I suppose either the daddy or mummy needs to go, not both????

Does anyone know what may be asked in the interview?  Thanks

My friend who has son studying in DBSPD and told me that 27/10 is not a school holiday!

I also doubt that how DBSPD standardizes the selection criteria for so many inteviewers!

Would it be just a game to test the luck of your boy!

mine is 7xx , but still not receiving letter yet.

confirm 27 Oct is not school holiday

for the matter of "many interviewer", I think it is common to most of the school.  Of course, it always a matter of subjectivity of different interviewers. This process is no better than random choice

Refer to the school calendar, 27/10 is not a school holiday, but refer to the Oct lunch menu, there is no lunch on 27/10.  That means it will be a school holiday.

There is no interview on Saturday morning.
