according to 校長, no need to have big file, approximately 5 pages is good enough. She said she has no time to go through a big file anyway.

I think the Principal said that the first round will be teachers/Principal/?others.
the 2nd interview, the two principals(Mr Cheung nd  Ms Lo) and some others, will meet with the parents also.

According to the school web-site:
Grade One Admission 2007 - 2008
1. There will be 5 Grade One classes with 30 students in each.

2. All applicants will be invited to attend the first interview.

3. 300 applicants will be invited to attend the second interview.


4. Parents do not need to meet the Headteacher.

Why bother so much about the quantity? I think they look for quality!

As far as I understand from the briefing, there is no such a limit of 5 pages imposed by the school.

Remember that day, the secondary school headmaster came in late. He arrived when the briefing was about to end. He has added a comment casually that 5 pages were sufficient for a profile. So, the 5 pages should not be interpreted as the limit as imposed by DGJS. Right?

Anyways, since this is not a limit, it is free for anyone to come up with a profile of sensible size, as long as the content is attractive.

It is right that quality really matters. But sometimes, without the quantity, it is hard to tell an interesting story.
