I don't think it's easy to enter, the interview was so serious and also lot of people to apply.  How old is your baby? because the school only has K2 and K3, no K1.

其實我真的聽過唔少不好的comment,但全部都是一些沒有讀過的家長,所以我都決定讓女兒試下,我都想佢學得有自信和自律.
我暫時只買了一條校服裙,諗住開了學再買多一條,反而要去買白皮鞋,因我女原本間學校係著黑鞋的.
開學是否無得陪,我個女有時都幾驚青,唔知會唔會喊.

你哋会唔会買or帶水壼? 我本來想帶水樽，不過有人話搭車時見到多數讀緊啲学生都有揹水壼，真煩！因為我以前用過好多水壼都漏水。

同埋你哋会帶什麼茶點呢?  點解学校唔派茶點嫁? 分明要D家長傷腦根啫!!!   

話時話，我覺得26/8 briefing 太遲啦，等到頸都長埋     好似你話齋，都唔知要預備啲乜??   

仲有成幾个星期，不如大家講吓對呢間学校嘅期望或者心情丫...   我自己就都幾緊張，話晒都係中西區名校，有咁多出名師姐，希望亞女可以適應啦。  同埋如果真係升到小学既話，大大話話都会讀成13年 (連埋中学)，所以都有D壓力。 你哋呢??

請問有冇K3或已畢業的家長可以教吓路?? 我哋實在太無助。

我又想知学校有冇課外活動提供?  Please help!!

My daughter just got admitted from the waiting list.  Think somebody dropped out?  'cos I didn't do anything at all...

I'm still not very sure if I should let her in... she's having so much fun at 靈糧堂幼稚園 now, and it sounds very unreliable for being admitted to P1 for SSG which is the key benefit about the whole thing... wonder what's the % of K3 being admitted to P1.

Do you think I should switch ... I know SSG trains up 斯文女仔 but other than that, what are the good things about it?  Will there be higher chance for applying other primary schools as a SSG kindergarten graduate?

聖士提反幼稚園上小學真的無保證,靈糧堂通常派邊啲小學呢?因我不在中西區,不太清楚.
我有個朋友的兩個女都是讀聖士提反幼稚園,佢話成績好,尤其中文好好,但英文的確淺左啲,所以佢比個女出去讀英文班.大女今年升小一,佢去考女拔收左,所以都唔會揀返聖士提反小學.

My daughter is studying Ling Liang Church as well, which location of yours?  We got offered also.  My daughter is also full of joy in LLC.  Therefore, i decide to let her stay LLC instead of SSG.

Thank you 小甜甜媽咪 and totochu's prompt responses.  So excited to see replies as this is my first message in BK.

My daughter is at LLC in CWB.  The teachers are excellent, nothing much you can criticise about this school except I heard people say the LLC students 喪玩 and syllabus are not difficult... I think kids have every right to have good time at kindergarten (or 'last' chance to have good time when the competition gets more and more intense).  I see LLC's websites and 6 or 7% of their K3 graduates will go to Marymount and Hennessy Govt Primary in the coming year.  In fact I have always heard that Hennessy Govt Primary has a good connection with LLC.

SSG is going to be a great contrast to LLC.  I remembered when we were waiting for the SSG interview, my daughter has been walking (it's walking, not jumping!) up and down those stairs and a teacher already asked her to stop (although in a polite way).  It should be a training school for little ladies and with its ~100 years of history, you can expect high emphasis on discipline and probably less flexible in the way they teach kids and run the school.  

I have been searching more info from other parents in this site about LLC and SSG ... maybe I will leave it to the last min (e.g. 1 Sept) to make the choice between LLC and SSG as school fee is paid for LLC anyway and SSG will not draw the money until early Sept....

BTW, I've asked SSG about the topics some parents have raised earlier in this 討論區 :

1.  Yes, have to bring your own water and snack!
2.  Parents can join the 1st-day school (1 Sept), but the staff does not find very certain whether parents will be let in or just look from outside the classroom.  I think SSG is not used to offer this option (or is not in their history) but since this practice is so common among other kindergartens, they have to allow this happen.
3.  It's at least going to take 2 more years for the redevelopment of the school site next to the current kindergarten classrooms.  I wonder whether there will be lots of noise and nuisance to the kids honestly ...
4.  I asked the staff if they're considering switching to school to 直資, the staff said 'at least wait for the new redevelopment has been completed' (!) I think our kids won't be benefitted from it no matter what.

Secondly, my friend (graduates' parent) said SSG is a quite traditional good, don't expect too much warm hug and nice treating to your kids as this is their culture. Moreover, the teachers are not willing u to call them.  

Actually, SSG seems to be changed to 直資 according our analysis as they are expanding the spaces.

至於話学校唔鐘意家長call係咩意思? 我打過去,個書記(我估)都答得好詳細& very polite. 如果開學後我打去問老師野,唔通佢唔答我咩，上次interview時亞校長都好nice丫。

至於big hug之類,我覺得作用不大,以前我个女个鬼妹班主任都好熱情,但班內小朋友咪又係咩性格都有,有啲可能好抗拒添。
