請問...祟真國際部好嗎?? 幼稚園國際班 & 小學國際部o既教學情況!! thanks..................

40% IB 課程, 其它60%是主流課程, 主要教學語言是英文及普通話, 上課時是没有廣東話, 上到小一還會學法文及日文, 祟真只是有國際班而不是國際部, 所以絕對能配合到香港的教育程度

上年學費$4300, 今年幼稚園及小學也加了10% , 大概是$4730

I noticed from other forum that many student form TT Kindergarten intended to move to another primary school, I wonder why?? I have apply the Int Kind of TT this year for my duaghter, cos it is "one dragon", would you please give me some opinion on this school?  Both the Kindergarten and primary school.

因為崇真是可以交了留位費後仍然可以申請其他直資及私校, 甚至待電腦分派結果最後才決定, 始終是要交學費, 如派到心儀學校都會走

sorry, 我好少上來, 所以遲答覆你.
我小朋友都係上左1年國際班(幼稚園), 呢1年內, 普通話進步神速, 英文就普通, 不過仔仔都可以自己讀完佢既英文書8成, 講就差少少, 今年9月仔仔就會上1年班, 希望英文會改善.  小學費用而家係46000元一年, 幼稚園係39000元.  祟真d老師都唔差, 不過admin就......  
幼稚園國際班有2位老師, 1位母語英文,1位母語普通話, 另1位assistant廣東話, 功課唔多.  至於小學, 未正式上課, 不過聽講除左中文係普通話其他英文, 數學都係英文, 不過唔會用外籍老師(可能中國人教既數學比外國人好), 另外小學好似可以修讀日文同法文.  
你小朋友會幾時入讀?  我所知有限希望幫到你.

Hi Hazen Dad,
So, will you consider taking TT J1 as your first choice?  Since the school fee is quite expensive taking into consideration of 6-year primary plus TT J1 is not the formal IB, only int'l section not int'l school, so, is it worthwhile to spend such amount of money?  Please share w/ your opinion.  Tks.

其實我小朋友上年都考入o左祟真國際班 k1，但因個時...我小朋友讀開個間幼稚園都幾好，所以先無轉去祟真！
我都幾鍾意祟真o既國際班，所以想了解多o的，多謝你話比我聽入面o既情況！我都打算再考崇真小一國際班！！thanks.

Thanks for your information.  I hope my daughter will have a happy life in this Kindergarten.  However, I wonder why the international class is only in pm?  So, in order to get use of it, I have to change the time table for my daughter progressively.  I worry if it is bad for the Child to take class in pm and sleep late and wake up late everyday.

Is TT primary's Int'l class using traditional teaching approach?  It seems that it is more or less same as TT's Chinese class other than the language used in class.

Start from this Sept, IK3 would changed to AM, not PM.

Hi WYmom,
Yeap, I have the same point of views as yours.  The most important point is the approach of teaching method.  If it is really use the project presentation style for teaching (like IB standard or the ESF schools) instead of mainly using the textbook like the traditional schools (doing tons of homeworks / lots of tests & exams), then it will be fine and worth to spend such amount of money to take the int'l class.  Right?

just for all parents information, TT currently is running IS upto P3, will continue to build up the primary from P1 to P6 I believe, don't know which secondary the TTIS student should go, any ideas ?

其實我在這幾個月也不斷留意有沒有更好的小學, 參觀一些學校的簡介會, 了解多一些作比較, 但我和我太太最終都覺得崇真是比較合適我們, 在學術的程度上有一定的水準(比一般的小學算深), 品德也算一般(因有時我送返學都能看見小學生小息的情況), 而雖然崇真只是國際部而不是一般的國際學校反而更好, 起碼在程度上必定能跟得上香港的教育制度, 將來在本地升學或外國升學也可. 另外, Hazen在這兩年的學習感覺令我算滿意, 由其在普通話方面, 從完全不僅的一種語言, 到現在已經可以一般的交談對答, 已經比別人快一步

I agreed the view with you, the child in international class can either choose to study in local University or oversea in the future.  I think the school can just take the balance between the traditional and international school.  For parent like me, still 15/16, not yet decided to pave for the child to study locally or oversea, is a very good choice.

By the way, you are very satisfied with the Mandarine of Hazen, how about his Enghlish? Is his performance good?  Thanks for sharing.

My son will attend J1 ( TT Primary 1 Intl class ) this Sept. Below are expenses summary:

School fee 1st Installment: $4,560
Uniform: $374 ( 4 sets )
Books: ~$700
1st term Exercise Books: ~ $900
School bus deposite: $200
School Bags: ~$260
Shoes: ~$500
Spet 2006 Lunch: $300

Have not decided which extracurricular activities to join yet!

Hi Yolly,
Have you got any more info from school regarding the teaching approach of J1?  Will they just like traditional school teaching by textbook?  Any project approach that students can complete it by grouping / sharing ..................?  To me, I'm interested in TT Junior Section but their teaching approach is the key concern to me.  Of course, the school fee is the major point too.
