如何讓國際學校學生學好中文?

Dear moms,

My son is studying P3 in ESF.  My husby and I would like to learn Chinese.

He is studying Kumon 普通話 and a Cantonese Chinese class every Saturday.   As an internation school student, the weighting may be too much for him and I almost spent all my time after work to guide him to the Chinese study.  Besides, he will have more homework in the coming year.

To us, the Kumon provided good training on my son's 普通話 speaking but writing seems insufficient.   On the other hand, the Cantonese Chinese class provided an environment for my son to study Chinese with other IS kids as well as with more Chinese character writing and dictation.

Would the moms please help if you know how the IS student can learn 普通話 with more writing training?

May I ask which ESF your daughter is studying at (QBS)?  How many days are the lessons per week and running by which organization?  Besides, are they using simplified version of Chinese character?
