華仁VS聖若瑟,好難決擇,是但選一間做第一志願,因此2間學校太多人爭,若放第2志願已經冇機會,2間也很好,華仁讀書應較輕鬆但學位少,聖若瑟讀書則緊張,但學位較多,各位家長可否比下意見,感激!!!

你這個問題, 我在今年選小一時已經煩過, 真的很難決定. 但我最後選了一間機會大兼100% 入的st. jo. 因我有20分.
因現階段你都唔清潔你小朋友的資質是如何 ? 一路讀一路觀察.

Both are very very good primary school, it is difficult for me to choose which one is better.

Firstly, 你要清楚依而嘅決擇只是計吓自己囝囝係1st, 2 nd 和knock door時兩間的chances。
*你15分係宗教分定係Old boy 分?如果係前者，1st stage 應no chances, 2nd chances lower than St. joseph, knock door also.(Unless 你識人又另計)你有Old boy分, knock door 時又另計。

*BK 上，有很多sucessful cases,some at the 1st, some at 2 nd, some at knock door 都係入St.joseph, 原因不外係佢真係位多，of course, 囝囝report card not good, 無乜課外活動....就冇得講。

以上係以兩間schools' seats supply 來計算，與兩校收students的水準無關。

Secondly, 你問自己suppose 抽唔到"Wah Yan", 是否"甘心"畀囝囝讀XXx, XXXX, 或派到邊間讀邊間(Of course, 我估你會考定畀你搞珠嘅St. Loius, 真光,慈幼打底)

#絕無眨意，亦無話呢啲學校唔好...不過要pay, 真光又冇直屬。

if you say "yes, " you will accept those private schools, then you go ahead and put Henessery Govt. P.M. as the 2 nd choice.

If you don't, I think you should choose St. joseph as the reasons many, many BK parents mentioned before. E.g. LTT. carcar123...etc.

就算唔係千禧效應，1st 都唔會少人，只係可以博2nd 搞珠，萬一搞唔到，你accept others also happy (than St. Joseph) 就易解決。有啲mummy 直頭話唔敢讀 St. Joseph，博到Wah yan 就最好，if not, 就算,一樣go ahead choose Wah Yan,  有啲好想好想好想囝囝可以讀到其中一間，咁就揀St. Joseph 贏面大.

But when you promote to the secondary, there is a better chance to further promote in Wahyan than St. Joseph, as St. Joseph has more classes in their primary, so more difficult to enter their secondary. But Wahyan only has 4 classes (am and pm session) in their primary.

但如果在St.jo不能直升上中學,咁D學生去向如何,未好混亂? 咁另外St.jo的學生的英文水平是否好過華仁?

I think they are better than Wahyan boys, because St. Jo is a English Primary school and Wahyan is a Chinese primary school. But on the other hand, the chinese level of Wahyan boys are quite OK.

mark 15, you have no change for wah yan in first round. but st joseph 可以抽.

I agreed with Holokmom, in second round if you put wah yan in first choice, once fail, 你會否欣然接受其他school.

各位家長:
其實講真,如果比我選,我都會選華仁,因我有個朋友開補習社,
收個st.jo的學生,佢話課本程度係唔深,但出d試卷就幾深,而且分數的競爭也很大,相差1分已差幾個排名,有d甚至零點幾分,我覺得壓力會幾大.

簡單來說, for lucky draw:

1st choice - st. jo, wah yan, hennessy a.m.
2nd choice - st james, hennessy p.m.
3rd choice - 寶血


據今年龍年效應, some of parents put st james in third choice, & 寶血 in fourth choice, 都入到.

以我性格, 如果未有結果前, 我會好容易囉囉鬈的, 所以我會選一間機會高的.因叩門都唔一定得.

你可以從以下的數據去選擇的:
wah yan (am) - 2 classes x 37p = 74 x 50%
wah yan (pm) - 2 classes x 37p = 74 x 50%
(二者取一)
hennessy (am) - 5 classes x 32p = 160 x 50%
hennessy (pm) - 5 classes x 32p = 160 x 50%
(二者可取, you can put 1st choice and 2nd choice)
st jo (pm) - 8 classes x 37p = 296 x 50%

因1st round and 2nd round 各佔50% seat.

最後, 都要視乎你自己的心水.

So u will put St.Joseph as the first choice? Or Wan Yan?  I know that St.Joseph will have more seats available, but will there be the case that more parents will choose St. Joseph instead, so that less will choose Wan Yan as the 1st, which mean maybe each chance for both school?
