thanks kawaihappy, is your kids will join the test this year ? Is that means take one year course so our kid can join the test or not.  I ask this question because I need this cert. to apply P2. Thank you very much.

Dear all,
我的兒子已讀了四年,但最近停了,因為在沒有通知家長情況下把一位資深老師調走了,當打電話去詢問有關情況時,則回只是構思,但他已有一個月沒有上課.當初標榜所有老師均來自英國,我相信現在已不是了.甚至有些班在短短兩個月換幾個老師,最後free一個月,當作賠償.讀唔讀你自已決定啦....學到知識與否則見仁見至.但小朋友一定喜歡,在上課時著重唱歌和遊戲,而一班有D一對十

Absolutely agree your view.

My son studied there for about 2 years for its kindergarten English course.  There were nice teachers, polite staff and pleasant classmates.  That's all.

My son told me that he watched TV cartoon programs, played games and so on in the 10 student classroom.  There were no course materials or summary to parents showing what they had learnt for each week such that we was not able to practice with him at home.  All books and exercises were returned to us only after completion of the course.  After that, my son was invited to promote to the primary course but his reading and writing skills are still below average.

I understand it is also parents' responsiblity to develop his English language but his teacher always told me that my son did well.  Probably, there was an expectation gap that I expected more in virtue of the course fee and their expertise.

Worst still, they changed the teacher quietly and even named the new teacher with the same name (unusual name) of the former one.

我囡囡今年先6歲，香港6歲才可考試，故10月先考，如您急需要cert，可自行到英國文化協會考，每個月都有得考。

每月1500元，4堂，每堂1小時30分鐘，這是一班10人價錢，每班一定不超10人，另外有1:1，1:3，學費貴些，報名時自己選。我們舊生無加價每月1380。學了一年多當然有進步！

我的小朋友現在k3，已在ABC讀了3年。她一直修讀劍橋課程，英文我本人非常滿意。去年9月有些同學仔開始參加埋新開的拼音班，但因學費原因，我無報讀。但聽聞其他K2的同學仔現在已可拼到很多生字及寫句子。

今年我已為我自己報讀他們的家長拼音班及女女暑期拼音班，希望９月可以加入正式的拼音課程。

I am considering to let my child to join the phonics class and the cambridge english.  I really want to know whether it is useful for the child at 5 who seldom speak English at home.  Thanks.

I feel that since their Director of Studies left, the school has much less students and the teachers seem to be coming and going real fast.  What do you think?  Anybody knows where she is?

ha-so : really?  Teachers come and leave frequently????   My daughter have not joined the Sep Phonics course because I was out for trip last week.  I hv not paid the fee and nobody in ABC call me to ask for reason.  I may need to reconsider it as changing teachers frequently sure disturb my child's learning emotion.    that's mean I waste $180

Hi all,

My child joint the Phonic class last Oct till now and just promoted to L2 few months ago.

They will have assessment at the beginning.  But student actually have different performance.  Student not up to the standard will actually cause serious delay to other smart student.

The other problem is they change teacher frequently and have many excuse. My child face the third new teacher in 8 month's time.

Though I will not quit at this moment, i will reconsider when my child to be in P1 next yr.
