You may submit a written application to the school, of course you have to give a concrete reason for the consideration of the school. However, there is only rare case for girls without English name/christian name.

My daughter is going to take K3 in st cat. i would like to apply 讀瑪利諾小學 coming Sept too, but she just 15marks only, have u got the offer in 1st round or 2nd round, could u tell, and also any K3 past paper in kenville can give to me,Chi, Eng and Maths, i do want to have.

Yes, you have to add the christian name into your daughter's birth certificate but not ID card. However, as I have mentioned before, you could apply to the school with concrete reason for the exemption.

As my daughter is going to change ID card in the coming months (intelligent ID card), I plan to add her English name on it to avoid unnecessary name conversion on certificate in the future.  In fact, it is what the officer advised me when I registered.

I plan to subscribe lunch box from school in the first month to see if my daughter can adapt to it. If not, I will swap back to bring lunch box to her school in lunch time by maid.

You can't arrange your maid to deliver lunch box during lunch hour.  Either you order lunch box from the provider or let your kid to bring the lunch box to school in the morning.

I had change my girl's ID card to intelligent one last week.

If you want to "add" the christian name in intelligent ID card, you have to pay $385 and you cannot do it in "intelligent ID centre".

For "add" name in birth cert, $425 +$140.

I was told "Intelligent card center" 唔做資料更改o架喎 !!

But no need to do seperately.......you should go immigration to do "change Intelligent ID card" + "updating" at the same time ......
