買新琴，唔該比d建議呀？

大家好！我女兒現要考第四級鋼琴。老師說現有的舊琴並不足以應付更高級之考試，我想買一全新的琴給女兒。老師建議我買一英国牌子，約值HK$46000,可以考至8級。

各位家長，請問你們有買琴經驗嗎？應買什麼牌子及型號？那間琴行比較好呢？

可否給些意見？

首先不要帶鋼琴老師去買, 因為老師向收琴行收傭金所以個琴會貴佐, 而你買的琴愈貴她的傭金愈多, 所以她會不中肯, 另外不要買二手, 因為二手琴好多做了手腳, 表面換了外殼, 告訴你琴是5年, 實際內膽已十五六年, 我在琴倉買了一個二萬多元的日本水貨, 若五年琴, 但同款在嘉偉要買三萬多元, 買時記得到大行買, 並要看Serial no., 因可了解琴的年份, 不會被騙

唔怪之得our piano teacher keeps asking us to go to the same shop to buy it.  I un la.  She also recommended us to buy a second hand one.   But we do not like second hand piano.

Paino teacher did not mention anything about the weather problem.   She just said 音色好靚！
I also thinkthat not so many people like to use an UK brand paino in HK.  
So, i doubt about it too.

Serial no.是琴的出廠編號, 而此編號是不計型號只按生產量計, 比方說Kawaii生產的第一個琴編號是0000001, 第二個就是0000002如此類推, 當然不可能由kawaii公司但生當天數到現在, 但你可到嘉偉看看若現有最新的琴其Serial no.是2560002 (只是例子), 其出產年份是2005年, 那麼以每年五萬台生產量計, 5年前即2000年kawaii的琴其Serial no. 應是2310002左右(2560002 - 250,000(每年50000 x 5年), 這樣, 便可算出琴齡, 而serial no.只要把琴的上蓋揭閞便可看到在背板上, 你現在的琴應該都有, 但kawaii的生產量我已忘記了以上只是例子, 詳情可問大琴行, 很多大行都有琴倉, 最好買日本琴, 歐美琴不合香港的潮溼天氣

如果你想買kawai 全新琴, 可以留意下嘉韻鋼琴, 佢地有代理kawai琴, 會比直接去嘉惠買kawai琴, 約平$3000.
若買二手琴, 建議你買香港用家的鋼琴, (用家在香港代理所購買的鋼琴), 有琴cert./invoice , 會比較穩陣.

我之前唔敢講piano teacher 有commission, 怕畀佢哋鬧，又唔肯定。
Sorry, Kawaii 的不是M, 是U系列，已經是最top la.
我小朋友買完Yamaha 的MT112(已經轉了model)，3萬多，唔夠3個月，我仔仔學琴的琴行(私人)話U1因出新款，old model 由4萬多賣3萬多，激到我紥紥跳。你試吓揾有冇朋友在大琴行做，或者tune琴師都會有消息   
仲有，同一琴行，不同分行，可平畀你的price都會唔同，視乎他們肯少收多少commission.但佢哋有規定，不可以主動搶分行價。我那時揾到上水的Tom XXX，比太古城、wamchai, causeway 平好多，所以你問價也要有tech, 同sales講完，叫佢問manager畀實咩price.   
Tom XXX嗰時同我講，比市面Yahama的serial number佢公司，佢哋可代check到琴齡，of course, 佢哋都係想你同佢買。
總之唔好急，ah 你找誰tune琴？大行的tune琴師咪有料囉。
你quote完price, 記得post it out,睇吓有冇辦法再帮你揾平啲，但你先要預好budget 和brand 先。 :

I guess should be Kawai K50E? It is between U1 and U3, for sure not equal to U3. Personally, I like this good more than U1.

For K50E, the Co. quoted $43,000 and my friend got one at $41,000.

Thanks for your quick reply.  
It seems the Kawai's price is somewhat not very low compared to Yamaha.  Recently, Txx Lxx is selling U3 at 49,xxx.  

My headache is we would like to find a piano with a stronger touch and hopefully (wishfully) at around 30,000.  Is that realistic?

Before trying the Kawai K50E, I like Yamaha U1 most. However, I changed my mind after trying Kawai K50E. I like the touching of Kawai & the sound is better and softer whereas the sound of Yamaha is sharper.

If you want to find one with stronger touch and around 30,000, you can consider Kawai KX21. The touching is stronger than Yamaha and the price is quite reasonable, around 23000-24000. They got two models of KX21 - one from China, one from Japan. For the China one for sure is cheaper.

I did consider KX21 at the very beginning but changed my mind after trying K50E. I will buy it next year cause I am renting a piano at the moment.

How old is your child? If she/he is just a beginner, then I don't think you need to buy a U3 wor.....

Yes, U3 is over-spec for us.  We are looking for sometime better than U1 and for Yamaha there are nothing inbetween.   Our kid is 6+ and we want to find one that is  "good" enough to avoid the trouble of upgrading later.

From the Kawai website, I see also other model such as K-25E & K30EAU.  How do you compares these with KX21?

And If I buy one for beginner, then I have to buy new one several years later.  

Would it be better if I buy one that is suitable for all levels?

I tried K-25E but I don't think there are big differences between it and KX-21. For these two models, I will buy KX-21.

Honestly, I am not a professional of piano. I know something about it because I also want to buy one for my daughter so I did some research before.....

Therefore all I said is only my opinion for your reference, may be some parents here may have different opinions.
