if u want your baby to start N1 by Sept 2007, u should start to apply nursery by Sept 2006....  your baby will be a small boy/ girl...

if u want your baby to start N1 by Sept 2008, u should start to apply nursery by Sept 2007... your baby will be a big boy/girl...

If i were u, i will start to apply N1 by Sept 2006 and let your baby to start N1 by Sept 2007.  If u can't get into the school u want, u can re-apply N1 in Sept 2007 and let your baby study N1 again by Sept 2008...
