多謝你回應,其實我仔仔是聖若瑟的幼稚園生,但在大抽獎時抽唔到1st choice,而我仔仔較喜聖若瑟,因他很同學仔已經入咗去,聖若瑟又係英小,所以我就想入去囉,但又驚我仔仔追唔上,個個都知St. Jospeh有幾幸苦.但到現時為止都未收到St. Jospeh的信.

我又去考軒官上午的原因是返上午班啲時間好用啲,下午可以給比我仔仔去補習.

Be relax.  My son is also a K3 student of SJ Kindergarten.  I remember in the P1 application briefing held on September last year, the primary school is keen to admit all kindergarten students.  I believe the primary school has enough capability to take care of the remaining students.  

Have you quoted the "special" reference in the enevlope to the principal of SJ Primary?  Try to contact your son's class teacher.  She should have experience to guide and counsel you.

請問知唔知st. joseph小學的程度是不是很深?一年又有幾多次考試?有沒有精英班?

我知英文同數學是用英文上堂,到了四年級就加多science用英文上堂

St.Joseph will hold a parents' day (P.1) on 7th July.
From the circular, anyone who do not come and without a written notice, the school place will be supposed to be give up. So.... : you must be patient and wait for the good news.

By the way..... Maths is in English. But teachers don't teach in English all the time. They'll ensure the students understand what they taught. Don't worry.

You did try your best to let your boy study in it's kinder, it's no reason to give up now. (Unless you and your child don't like the primary.)

                Then, the register date of St.Jos. also on 3 July(Central allocation)? Did you ask St.Jos. for the arrangement? I mean there must be some boys give up their places of St.Joseph ,then when will you been informed?

                My neighour told me that he applied Jos. for his son both the 1st and Central allocation. He failed . At First, he make the registry to the other sch.(I forgot). At the end of July, St Jos called him and let his son study there. ( 6 yrs ago) So, you've to set a dealine date as late as you accept. From the topic of Henessery , it may be the other good choice of your son. (If 30 top boys can admitted to QC at 5 years later) You're so lucky to have such many choices!!

小兒也是在st jo 讀小一的,很同意faxfax所說,外間人都說st jo競爭大,所以很多家長一開始就會push個小朋友,造成家長和小朋友都有很大的壓力,今次考試(只是小一),我仔嗰班和其它班都有同學發高燒,都照返學,何況如果小朋友是讀五年級的,真是要打針都要返學考試.

在st jo讀書,最大的壓力不是來自課程的深與淺,而是家長與同學間的相互競爭,就算是一分兩分都會影響自己的排名,將來可否升中就是要靠這個排名,你話壓力大唔大呀?

我好開心呀,我今天收到St. Joseph的電話叫我仔仔下星期五到學校interview,請問各位,我仔仔在星期五interview是不是即時知道收唔收我仔仔?

好多謝各位提供現在在St. Joseph讀小一的家長的意見.我現在就放心啲.

我就唔會理其他家長或同學的競爭,我只在乎我仔仔讀唔讀得上及他返學返得開唔開心.這兩點是最重要的.再這,我又是一個在職媽媽,我接觸到其他家長的機會又少,而我又唔會給我仔仔任何壓力,我只希望他開開心心的上學,而又正面面對所有事情,我就足夠,名次並不是很用,只要他有努力過就得啦!
