age 4 is good, becuase the fingers was strong. Do you agree.

It depends on how you define "learning piano". To attend piano examination ONLY?

My daughter has attended Tom Lee's classes for toddlers for two years. They teach music instead of piano. All the kids are happy and a few of them started to go to individual piano lessons because they "liked" music and so they wanted to pick up the first instrument.

My daughter's piano teacher said that the best age to start will be around 6.  She said too early to learn playing the piano is actual waste of money, unless the kid loves to play the piano and has the talent on it.

Agree with you, but most of parents push their kids to learn from age 4.

Yes.  My younger girl wants to learn with the same teacher, but she turned her down said that my girl is too young to start and she does not want me to waste the money.

However, I think that if :

1. The kid really "Love" to play piano.  Not the parents "want" their kid to learn playing piano.
2. The kid is willing to practice on everyday basis.
3. The parent can find a good teacher.

Then, the kid may learn in an early age.

If you want to force them to learn to play piano, you guys are suggesting the best answer already.

However, I always want my daughter to enjoy music, and I think I am on the right track. She is 5 and can play some short and simple songs without being forced to.

I guess no kid is willing to practise every day.

Actually, to me, MUSIC is more important than PIANO. Think about it.
