Interesting!! Just saw one parent asked about this in one topic, and I find it interesting.  Share with us yours number & what choice you got!!!

My one is 574xx, got 1st choice in net 34.

I have got the xxx07 , may be the last one is the sequence, I have got 1st choice in net 14, first 3 digit as yours, I think it is not the sequence, how about your last 2 digit before 10 or after 10 ?

My last two is more than 10.
One mom in other topic said her no. is 500xx and got 1st choice St Mary. My one is 574xx.
So can we think the number start from 50000 up to 75000 for all ~25000 applicants. Then think that my sequence is 74xx out of 25000 applicants, while the above mentioned one got xx out of 25000, that is within the first 100, so she can got St Mary.

Any other ideas??

As I recalled, the application form in the 1st Round already had a number.  This number is to identify the applicants.  Therefore, all who submitted an application form for central allocation will have a number by the time you submitted the form.

Is the number you are talking about different from that number on your application form?

do you mean ABCDE.....  digit ABC  or digit DE ?
mine is 8XX12,   and got 7th choice in net 91.

why more than 80,000 ?

and any co-relation with date of birth ?
my daugther mid Nov.   
is it less priority, then ?

Just got the confirmation ~~

When I go for registration today, I asked the staff what the number stand for.

She said is "學校編號".

So our assumption can be proved wrong. 隨機編號 is not disclosed.
