For girls, Maryknoll Convent must be the first choice.  I just want to understand more about the net 41 schools for girls.  Please recommend, what should be the other choices.  (2nd to 5th choices in net 41)

Dear bbqueen,

Don't easily give up any chance for your girl, my girl is also a small girl in net 41 and at least I don't think she is outstanding & very smart, especailly I think she is the shortest among all classmates in whole k3 class.

But I still try my every best to let her do well, always motivate her , let her be confident, so at least I don't think there will be none of any private schools will give back up to your daughter.

Anyway, since this year the birth rate is much higher than yr 07 & this year the competition is the highest, so just use this coming year to train your girl & apply some of private schools.

bingo for my first choice, Maryknoll Convent.  

I got 20 scores but failed in the first round.  It was a big blow at that time.  

I would say my journey was full of frustration and disappointment, just like many dads and mums.  My daughter was born in year end, not so mature when compare to those born in early year.  My strategy is that I enrolled my kid in interviewing class to get familiar with interviewing environment; applied more schools for increasing the chance to be admitted; paid efforts in preparing the profile, never gave pressure to kid before interviews.  Eventually, Kowloon Tong Primary school, Sacred Heart Canossian (private) and Tsun Chen reserved a place for her.  I felt very calm and peaceful before the 2nd round of lucky draw as I have already done my best for my kid, and never feel guilty.   

So, chin up, all parents, once you have done everything, let it go and take it easy, and welcome everything encounter you.

I put the first 3 choices the same as you but I've got Choice no.9 at last which is WongTaiSin GPS. But thanks God I've got 1 private school on hand, otherwise...........

Thanks for your sharing.  My girl also doesn't looks like in K2, that's why I'm a bit worried about the interview.  I hope that she will be as lucky as your girls and can be their 師妹 next year.

1st round : 20分嘅小朋友都要抽纖, 15分係連抽的機會都 冇. 不過你可以參加2nd round的大抽獎, 這個回合純講運氣, 係唔計分嘅!

totally how many school you had filled in for the third round (lunck draw) ?  What are the private school u've applied for ur daughter for backup ?  My daughter will be in K3 in coming Sep.  When do I need to get prepare?  What need to be done now ?  Do I need to prepare profile now ?  Please advise.
