請問讀那一間幼稚園/那一區是可以考到St Mary?

actually I think the english standard is higher in GH as they use english as the teaching channel. I heard that St Mary is using Chinese to teach now and the standard is far more lower than the past even they have alot of homework and push the students hard.

There is no doubt both of them are good schools but if according to standard, it is not 100% that St Mary is higher than GH.

As some of my friends' children are studying in famous subsidiary school and direct subsidiary school, their comment is since DS school can have more freedom to decide the syllabus and they can use the resources according to their plan, their standard is better than some famous school but I think the qualification of teachers in these famous school are not bad because they have so long experience.

But one pt is some teachers in these schools are not as close as the new younger teachers as the new one is using the friendly approach to teach their students rather than putting long face and so strictly as those in famous school.

Many friends commented that the student in the DS schools seems more happier than in traditional school.

Both 德望 and 聖瑪利 are good, but if I have to choose one between them, I'll choose "聖瑪利".

2間選, 我會選聖保祿, 因為德望的小朋友會讀得辛苦.  相反聖保祿每次考試只考中, 英, 數三科, 合格就可以升班, 然後升上中學. 我的外甥女在聖保祿讀緊, 相比起我個女, 科科都要考, 佢真係讀得輕鬆很多, 而且英文程度非常好. 不過你都要consider地區, 那一間會比較方便你的女兒.

No doubt, St Paul Convent la.  If I were you, move to HK side immed.  BTW, Can you share how to get a seat in St Paul?

Hi fionwong2707,

Last year my daughter received invitation to 2nd interview about 2 weeks after the announcement of lucky draw. I heard some registered as late as August last year. Just be patient.
