I've just received the letter from St. Clare's about the registration and briefing on 10/6. Hope we can meet on that day.

Yes, I did join the "lucky draw".

It's really all depend on our luck, if we bingo on 3/6, then I don't have to worry about the travel arrangement. At present, I only concentrate on how I would bring my daughter to St. Clare's. The best is to drive her to school but the tunnel fee is really a fortune! Nevertheless, it's good that I'm not nervous at all about the lucky draw's result as I always prepare for the worst!

By the way, will you go for the "knocking door" stage even though you did not join the lucky draw?

Anyway, hope it's good news on 3/6!

That's true that St. Clare's offers French which is one lesson per week.

I asked the same question to a teacher at Churchill Chamber and she commented that Sacred Heart Private may be at a slightly higher standard than St. Clare's (general speaking) but the workload of the former one is quite tough. Both schools are quite similar after all as their English standard is high.

I did not apply for Sacred Heart Private at the first place as I wasn't intended to seach for schools in the H.K. side as we live in the Kln side. The reason why we apply for St' Clare's is that we have a friend's daughter studying there for P1 to P6. Now, she gets into St. Clare's Girl's Colleage. Other than this, St. Clare's is the first private school that invites our daughter for interview and therefore we just take it as an experience, so that my daughter might be able to perform better in other schools' interviews.

How about your daughter? Did you apply both schools for her?

其實我都係因為暫時仲未搵到校車去st. clares,所以都唔知點算好,睇左好多人既comment,True Light 同 st. clares 都係好既學校,其實我自己就首選st. clares,事關個女都表現得好鍾意間學校,不過一諗起要佢日日轉2程車返學,天氣差d既時間仲會辛苦d...都唔知點算好!到而家仲係十五十六...

Dear hohomami,

St' Clare's is also my first preference, and my daughter likes the school too. As i said, I'll most probably drive her to school (20 mins drive from Mei Foo taking West X-harbour tunnel). Alternatively, we can take MTR from Mei Foo to Admiralty and taxi, that's the fastest way to get to school which I guess will take about 40 mins.

I actullay noted from a guy named Mr. James Wong (90802514) who offers private school bus service from Kln side to St. Clare's. However, the pick up time is 6:30 a.m. (or earlier, I don't quite remember)! That's why I won't consider taking school bus.

Anyway, I'll see what the result is on 3/6.

By the way, did you join the lucky draw?

My girl is 4 years old this year. And she is the second kids in my family-she was born in Aug 2002.
1) If I am a graduate student in St. Claire-Primary section, is there any points to ADD in during the interview?
2) How was the interview?
