My daughter will study in Small World on coming Sept.  Any comments of this school?

I read some comments before and I can say this is a good school. I will be at the waiting list when my son is 2.

But I don't know which primary is most students go to? How long did you wait to know your daughter can get in?

I sent the application on last Nov and get the place at the end of Apr.

It is a very good school.  Most of the teachers there are very caring and loving.  Discipline is emphasized in this school.  I think most of the students went to esf school.

We are living at Kornhill, Quarry Bay.  Does anyone know if their school bus services cover this area?  If yes, do you know how long does it take to go to the school?  Thank you

The school bus also cover Kornhill area.  The pick up time is 0800 - 0810

My baby is 10-months old only.  We've applied Kornhill Victoria and I plan to study there in August.  But, when he is 18 months old, I will consider going to Woodland.  How about you?

Hello Cheerfulmama,

I have planned to let my 14 mths baby to go to
woodland WanChai in this September.   However, my hubby suggest to let him go to Victoria instead.  
As he think start in a local playgroup will help to develop his verbal skill, as he do not speak ....now !

So what do you think, any reason you consider going to Woodland ?

Is Montorssi (botanical garden on crain road) the only school that offers approved programme for kids under 2. No adult needs to accompany the kids. They claimed they are one of the very few approved programme and it's not a playgroup. I am considering it for my boy but they will accept kids who can walk.

I enrolled the summer course in Montessori School of Hongkong at Craine for my kid who is 4.5 year old.  I think it has a Mandarin and English 50% respectively.  That is good for my kid.  Although It is very far, i will try and i also buy their theory.
Summer program has outing programe too.  1 on July up to the weather situation, the 1 on Aug, they will go to Causeway Bay Library (Toy House)

Unlike the school fee, the english programme is reasonable. HK$800 for 4 lessons and 2 hours each.  I will join after the summer because I have enrolled for the summer programme. I am also considering their learning creche but some of my friends' kids who have studied there before say the standard is not as good as before.
