ESF parents, please advise

Hi ESF parents

I have heard that working mom's kids are more difficult to be admitted into ESF schools since they need much parent's participations in school's activities.  Is that true?

of course no la, they only look at your child's performance, not the parents.

if your kid can speak good English during to interview, it should be okay, ESF is not very difficult to get in if compare to FIS, GSIS....

As the waiting list in ESF schools are sooo long that you are hardly to have an interview especially for P2 and above.

May I ask SJS' parents advice on the following questions please?

1. Is SJS applying PYP to year 1 upto 6 now or just P1?

2. Do you see any changes in curriculum after using PYP?  What's the value-added part?  I only know that PYP is inquiry-based learning.

3. With the move to PYP, will SJS increase the no. of Chinese lessons per week?  If yes, when will it be implemented?

4. As most students in SJS are local Chinese, are they talking with each other usually in Cantonese?
