St. Mary's / St. Clare's / True Light (Kowloon Tong) / Good Hope

We're still struggling with our final choice. No doubt that St. Mary's is our dream school, but we would only know the result on 3rd of June. Both St. Clare's and True Light have admitted our daughter and we're on the waiting list of Good Hope. My question is:
1) if we failed on St. Mary in June and assume no answer heard from them even though we try the "door knocking" step , should we fight for Good Hope? I guess parents of the successful applicants of Good Hope might withdraw their places if they bingo in the "lucky draw" and hence those on waiting list may have the chance to get admitted.
2) I hear too many good comments on St. Clare's which is also our preferred school. However, we live in the Kowloon side and the travel distance between home and school is a question. If we finally come to this dilemma situation, i.e. only St. Clare's and True Light to choose from, should we still pick St. Clare's regardless of the travel distance? Anyone lives in the Kowloon side has picked schools is the H.K. side and what is your travel arrangement? Please share!

As far as I know, you can play 'Lucky draw' if you have already confirmed that you are going to let your daughter study there ...

Where do you live in Kowloon? How about moving to live in HK? Before you make your decision, check out with St Clare if they have school bus route running at Kowloon.

I heard fr a Mami in BK said St clare's does not have school bus to KLN, it only run within the HK island.

It's true that St. Clare's doesn't have school bus service run between HK and Kowloon. I also know a guy who offers private school bus service for all areas and the charge is reasonable. However, the pick up time is too early - 6:30 a.m. from Mei Foo! Do you know other alternatives that offer private school bus service?

I live in Eastern HK, I asked the school bus pick up time is around 6:45. So I think 6:30 from Mei Fo is need, as the school time start at 8:00

Wow, that's early! I think I would drive her to school if we finally pick St. Clare's, or move to the HK side.
