Ha ha ! I make a anayis before is according to the last year lucky draw information from goverment website. But, only for Maryknoll but La Salle more or less the same.

Part A) 0.3% only not 3%.  Please note.
Part B) 38-39% If based on last year 870 people for luckly draw and 470 people got frist 1-3 choice, lucky have a 1st choice is around 72% of 470 people mean around 340 people got first choice over 870 people.

Or, another simple calcuation is 870 people, 1/2 is girl 435 and marynoll have 86 seats = 19% up as not all people choice maryknoll for 1st choice.

So, so many parent move to 41 nets>>>

Could you tell us where is the government website containing lucky draw information? I want to do my own analysis for my target school. Thank you.

謝謝mabelku的回應    ..有個愚蠢問題提出:例如假如校網內總共有1000個學位,但學生多出了1000,那餘下的會派出網外?    ,還有,net 41的男生怎填志願,可分享下嗎?

Dear bb Queen,

My daughter only 15 marks cannot admit by 1st round but I moved to net 41.  Yes, my first choice of both part A and B also Maryknoll.

Before I fill in the form I also ask same question to the education dept by phone, they answer if your net not enough for the apply student. some of the student will be depatch to near your net area.  For the net 41, may be some go to wong tai sin etc.....

For the net 41 boy, actually I didn;t have anyasis due to I have daughter only. But, I real so many comment from bk website.  Some like this.

Part A) La Salle
Part B) 1st - La Salle,2nd-dps, 3rd kowloon tong govement.... Oh forget exactlly.  May be you can check the BK website record.  Sorry!!!

One more school before in wong Tai Sin net but this year moved to net 41 is quite good but may be not so many parent know is the 基華小學 as my freind live in Wong Tai Sin before and I also study many maginze said that this school have over 70% band 1 student.  Please note. :  :  :

All 41 net 家長,

若大家關心男校選擇, 以今年(06-07)為例, 已加多 10多間 43網選擇, 但此10多間43網只是每間撥出10多個位出來,
我相信應該係今年適齡選小一生較往年多(龍年效應?),我將選校表內學校內加過,總小一位 (41網)共930多個,相信政府知道選校總人數超過41網學位,故有加43網之事,應該每年不同,亦即今年競爭更大 (上年870幾,今年起碼多幾十人),故揀La Salle/Maryknoll/DBS 更加要睇小朋友邊個運氣好些啦  ! 以上是我本人之分析吧 !!希望準確 !

As I know, 基華小學 was good at Wong Tai Sin, when comparing with the Wong Tai Sin's primary school; therefore, it was 60% of band 1 (info. from bible).

After moving to Kowloon Tong region, do you think it can maintain 50% band 1 when comparing with other schools? (Facts: there are many famous schools in 41 and 34-九龍城區 )
