我囝囝將會去interview, 請問有無媽媽可以分享一吓interview會係點gar? 同埋對耀中兩歲班有無咩野comments?
通知interview信上寫明如果收既話要即日交學費, 所以而家想知多些資料, Thanks in advance!

You don't expect them to tech the kids too much ABC or words etc.  However the kids are very happy,  have confidence and willing to learn new things.

my son will join the 2 yr old class this August.

During the 'interview', actually it's not an interview at all (just talking to the parent(s) and no test will be given to the kid (in my case)...the headmistress will tell you don't expect your son will learn phonics... in the class coz they are not 'that type' of school... she emphasises on their objective '愉快學習'...and that's the reason why I choose YC.

Yes, you have to pay a few cheaques once u finish the conversation with Ms Kam (the headmistress), one is for registration, one is for one month school fee, and also for the uniforms... (don't remember the exact items) but these cheaques will bank in to their accounts in different timing... (the staff will tell u in details)

Hope it helps and wish ur son will be my son's classmate too.

如無意外, 佢收小豆b既話, 我應該會俾佢讀....因為so far 我get到既comments都唔錯....then our sons will be classmates in the coming year!   Let's share more in the future!

佢地真係有好多位gar? 我以為佢班數得兩至三班, 大約20人一班所以會有competition tim!

我都幫仔仔報左, 係三歲入學既國際班, 所以我去左佢地既 parents introduction, 唔知你有無去呢??? 當參觀校舍時, 個老師show d 吉既課室比我地睇, 佢話係多左出黎, 可以即時收生.

parents introduction 後, 我唔要佢地個 offer, 跟住成日打黎叫我再去,打唔到比我就打比我老公.....叫我地諗下比仔仔入去讀.

但我唔鍾意, 因為太多中國人, 英文量比唔起其他 international school, e.g.  GSIS, FIS, JIS

yew chung 中學，有好耐喇，係 piper's hill，而家 kowloon tong 係新校舍。

yew chung 其實算係 "先到先得" ，你早報名，就比你 interview，話係 interview，都係同家長傾下計，睇下你係唔係認同佢地的教學法，如果你覺得 ok ，佢地就比你小朋友讀。
佢地唔會揀學生，即使係小學，都唔會揀，你去報名，又有位，就比你讀。因為佢地係睇程度去分組教，一班裡，唔同小組，可能進度會唔同。
yew chung 一直都唔係話好多人爭住入，佢地學費唔係平，上到小學要過萬，一定唔會有其他主流著名校的幾千人爭幾百學位的氣勢，感覺上，yew chung 好似冇咁多人爭，冇咁 "吃香"。

For primary school, I think I can't afford allowing my two sons going into international schools coz the fees are really high, so I consider YC as they can provide a stronger Chinese background (dunno if I am right?) so that they can get used to local primary school life easier. Yet I choose an international Kindergarten is because I want them to have a more happy and active learning approach  during their early childhood...

=> 其實"感覺上"對我唔係太重要, 最緊要係好而值咁貴既學費(但我暫時未知YC係咪真係好, 所以要問大家意見).....有時我驚d"主流名校"為了'招牌'而谷學生, 失去本身教學意義.....好難選擇....

You are right, Yew Chung 主流班 Chinese background is quite strong, most student get into La Salle for their Primary school life.

我知 la salle 係津校, 都係人地話我知  la salle 鍾意yew chung 同埋 st. cathrine 既學生, 多數都派到. 當然都要睇住既地區.

Thanks very much for your info. I feel much comfortable to choose YC for my son now.... La Salle is also my favourable school for my son ah!  
Of course no kindergarten can guarantee a place in 津校, and I won't choose YC just because it has higher chance of entering La Salle.....just hope the education they provide can train him to be a smart child, so that his chance of getting into good schools will be increased.

岩岩見到呢個topic好想同大家分享吓我對耀中2歲班既意見.

我上年幫我個女報左2歲班, 今年1月返學, 但係我2月份已經退左學啦.

主要原因係我覺得比咁貴學費, 佢地比唔到我基本想要既野. 點解我要比個女返國際學校. 主要原因 (相信係大部份家長選擇既原因) 就係想比小朋友聽及講多d英文. 如果唔係我唔需要選擇咁貴既學校. 但係佢地係好主張母語教學, 而我個女每日上堂3個小時裡面佔左7成時間都係講廣東話. 可能我又唔好彩編正果班係無外藉老師既就更慘.除左係讀緊英文故事果陣, 差不多成堂我都係聽到廣東話.

而且, 我個女返左一個月堂佢地果班居然換過7個不同既老師. 唔好話我個女堂堂都要重新適應新老師, 就連我個工人都唔記得個老師叫咩名 (因為次次都唔同). 但係隔黎果班就唔同喎, 每次我都見到同一個外藉老師上堂.

我見到就梗係唔高興啦, 就打電話比ms kam (校長)問啦. 因為我當初選擇耀中係因為知道佢地係每班都一定有一個固定外藉老師同一個本地老師做班主任. 但係我打比校長問點解我個女果班兩個都係本地老師, 只係一個講英文一個講廣東話, 校長就答我,講英文果個唔係本地人黎架, 佢係留學new zealand返黎架. 但係真係恕我直言, 果個所謂留學生講既英文同香港人講英文一d分別都無. 完全無外國口音. 講佢係外國讀過書你都唔信. 但係可能佢真係有張"沙"紙, 我真係無野好講.

當然, 香港有好多人講英文都好叻, 但係我只係覺得我比咁貴學費, 都係想個見多d同聽多d外國人姐, 如果唔係我自己同個女講英文都得啦. 駛鬼出去學咩.

至於每堂都唔同老師就真係無話可說, 因為ms kam話咁岩呢排比較多老師要出去做野所以安排比較亂! 7個老師當中曾經有一兩個真係外藉老師, 一心諗住發啦終於有個"金頭髮" 睇吓, 點知原來佢係一個新老師, 又唔識唱歌, 唱又唱錯歌詞,最後佢選擇唔唱, 播帶, 之後每次見佢都係笑, 一句野都無講, 以為有好野, 點知死多兩野, 你話吹唔吹漲.

所以總括黎講, 我只可以話自己唔好彩入左果班, 但係如果一心想比小朋友聽多d英文, 耀中未必係理想既選擇.

以上只係我個人既意見同體會. 請明白.
