我囝約四歲半開始學，現在六歲；已學了年半。 小朋友上堂先做拉筋和轉動全身關節的熱身運動，然後一排排學習基本擋打、出拳、脚踢。 師父有時會執靶給小朋友踢打。 最後練習套拳和橫隔膜呼吸法。 相對在人多的遊樂場攀爬玩耍，小朋友學習空手道十分安全。

My daughter joined the class on Friday already. She enjoy the lesson very much but I think she is only 4 years old so she can't follow all the instruction. Anyway, Thanks for your share

Hi Juicy,

I hope Karate can improve your daughter's physical fitness, body balance, confidence and obedience.  Don't push too hard on her.  Let her have fun with other children.  As compared with boys, girls will grow and learn faster.

To a child, the main objective is to build up his/her confidence and obedience.  Besides, Karate helps to develop a child's body balance, health and fitness.

It depends whether a 3.5 years old child can understand and follow the instruction or order of the master.  Besides, in order to 練氣 and breath effectively, Karate students are required to "scream" upon striking.  Some children will be sacred by such voices. Once a child overcomes the obstacle, he/she will have fun with other students.  Best still, the masters are patient to new students.
