pui ching or st rose好呢？

very lucky and happy to know my daughter accepted by pui ching (am class) and st rose.  Then i am in trouble how to choose.  俾d意見啦....
將來上小學，有家長認為私校學費貴年年加，仲有是否真的可先參加自行分配而校方唔知架，聽聞st rose好似入番小學部都幾大機會架

as you need not pay school fee for St.Rose primary school , and it is also famous .

s. rose都吾係全部學生可以上架 (大約六班升四班咁上下), 培正都吾錯。

Congradulation. Since both school do not garanteen P1, I like PC as it is not a girl school.

For school fee, is it really unpredictable or very heavy for the family, if not, why bother now?? By the time at K3, if she study well at either school, you may probably apply some others school for her too?

When my daughter went for interview at St Rose, the teacher said that the kindergarten and primary school is not related. And primary school do not guarantee a seat for your child, as they follow the government's way of distributing seats. So do think carefully -

BTW, my daughter still hasn't got news from St Rose :(

You may consider the following criteria:

Chance to get its primary school (PC- guaranteed, St Rose - not guranteed)
Reputation - some rank PC higher while others rank the opposite, personally, I rate PC higher)
Location - PC - Homantin, St Rose - Shatin (pls check), it is really counted if you are not living around coz what we are thinking are the transportation for the future 6 years in primary education.
Gender - PC - coed, St Rose - girl school (For me, I will consider the 拍拖 problem coz teenagers start their puppy love very early now. But it all depends the school atmosphere and moral education).  Maybe this should not be a problem in PC.
School Fee - PC Primary ($2xxx) Vs St Rose (free)
Religious - PC-Christian Vs St Rose (Catholic). If you are not believing in either one, it is not an issue.
