It seems that Elliot is really loyal to Thomas & his friends.  You cannot deny that the design of the Thomas die cast engine is really good and the fittings of the mechanical parts are really sound.

Kids today are spoiled and they are trained to be stubborn and self-centred coz we are giving them too much.

There were times when Elliott refused to say good morning too.  We would lock him in his room and let him cry.  Sometimes he would not give in.  Then we said we would throw his trains or not going out with him.  Very tough.

I am thinking this morning that Elliott knows more English words than I did when I was 3 but I am not too sure if he would know as much as I do now when he grows up.  He just starts early but that could mean nothing.

What I want to say is education is more commercially driven now.  Kids are trained early but I doubt the outcome is going to surpass ours in our generation.

I totally agree. Beyond doubt, when I was 3, I didn't know words like 'alligator', 'astronault', etc., yet I was pretty sure that I was well-mannered and treasured every opportunity to learn when I was at my kindergarten's age.

Yet adolescence nowadays, nonetheless to talk about our kids, seem to be deteriorating in both moral and academic standards.  I'm sure their parents care much more about them than we were.. So I remind myself sometimes to deprive my kids in material sense may be a better means to rear them..

Or parents nowadays are too busy to handle the kids.  So we are kicking them to nursery or playgroup as early as possible.  

I have registered Elliott to a 3-day course at Little Prince on 12/28-30.  3 hours a day.  Otherwise our maid could not get her housework done.

Where is Little Prince? In Kln Tong? I found some day camps too, held by Kln Caritas, I wished that Al Al could be engaged in some activities on 28-30.12 so that he won't disturb his younger sister. However it's really too faraway, I can hardly make an arrangement for that.. :-|

請問妳TIM TIM 返一小時 / 半小時, 另外佢現在只是讀音符, 需要"店"個琴嗎?? 妳仲需要和佢溫習嗎?/    我原諗住等天穎4 歲半先學琴, 但如果唔太難, 學下音符都唔錯
