两間小學有甚麼不同之處? 對它們有甚麼意見?

啟基小學與啟思幼稚園(全港有多間接)是同一辦學團體,都是由陸趙均鴻博士為校監,啟基小學校長為莫鳳儀,她是現任香港傑出青年協會主席.  

啟思小學是另一團體,只有一間附屬幼稚園,並將會有一間直資中學

I plan to let me kid to study in Creative P this year.  I buy the concept not only on its approach in teaching kids, the most important is that discipline and EQ training for kids there make me more comfortable than those international school in which, too much freedom for young generation.

I also buy CCS's 五心教育concept and also its 藝術教育.  Children should be very happy and enjoy learning there.  Moeover, through the personal network of the principal (who participates in many social services and charity work), students can have many opportunities to have exposure and joining special meaningful activities that can enrich their life experience too.

Hi,

I don't know too much about 啓基小學 but I do know that students studying at 啓思小學 are very happy. Many of the parents of 啓思小學 are teachers and professers. They will also have a DSS secondary school in 2006.

btw, I think both schools are good as they both emphasis the enjoyment of learning..

The secondary school is not located at Oxford Road, but in TKO.
My daughter will most likely study in P1 in the year of 2006.  Some kids of my friends are studying there.  Those kids are all willing to express themselves, proactive and eager to learn.  They all enjoy their school life too.

The secondary school of 啟思小學 is somewhere near 清水灣半島.

I think why there are still parents can afford is that they are mostly civil servants or teachers or professors in university.  All these parents can receive local education allowance (but surely they still need to pay more than half of the school fees).

If you compare with other DSS, it is not really very expensive. It's 48,000 a year. The address is Wan Po Road 50, Sai Kung (which is at 百勝角 if you look it up from a map), right opposite to 清水灣半島(a private housing estate).  For Local Education Allowance, parents normally get 75% subsidy from government. (There is a ceiling which I forgot)

The school does attract me too. Anybody got more details of this school?

The newly revised ceiling is $29,950 p.a.  But don't forget you need to pay tax on the allowance

I also plan to let my daughter study there in 2006.  Frankley speaking, if Creative P does not have secondary school, I will give it up as it pace and curriculum is too difficult to compete with local schools in Secondary 1.  However, right now, it solves my problem.  The only problem is my husband insists on studing in local one!

As I understand the academic standard of their graduates is not low at all! P.1 to P. 3 should be easier but they will catch up by P.6......You need to complete the whole primary as a "course" (like taking antibiotics. )  Most of the subjects are taught in English.

本人小女明年升讀小一, 我亦替她報讀了啟思小學, 但心內始終有疑問, 大家好像把愉快學習=程度低, 本人不是公務員, 我願意支付學費, 但期望是物有所值. 我希望小女能愉快學習同時, 亦有良好的兩文三語能力, 啟思小學是否真的能提供良好的語言學習環境呢???

如果有啟思小學的家長, 希望您們能賜教! 又您們認為學校的資源主要是投放在那方面呢???

I have attended Creative Primary's open day. I found the posters, picutres and banners etc are in English rather than in Chinese.  I have also toured other local famous traditional school and the language used in the public definitely is in Chinese.  I don't think having a "happy study life" means everything for kid.  The most important think I buy Creative P is that it is a real action-learning school, give students a chance to develop themselves.
