今日（12/11）in 左 SC 的家長

我今日同女女同老公一齊去 in SC，
但係感覺好差，
首先入到去就要排隊，
大人排都無問題，最慘要小朋友一齊排，又熱又局
入到去交左 form，不論 Eng / Chin 都要排，
中間只係得小小 lego 比小朋友玩
入到去第二間房，又係要等，仲要係得一個 kitchen 仔，
跟住 in 時，個老師又好似趕住要走甘，
叫女女做 matching，只係 wait 左大概 20 seconds,
就即刻收番，再囉過第二樣出來，一 D 都唔 patient,
試問又點可能 expect 一個剛剛兩歲大的小朋友係甘短時間做到甘多野呢
仲要比兩 set 杯話要 choose the right sound 喎，
我個女就只係比隻杯我，叫我 drink
我唔知 SC 的收生標準，但我就覺得同小朋友對答的時間好少，
老師只係成場問過女女叫甚麼名，幾多歲，係甘多，
一尾叫佢做，做，做 .....
唔知其他家長有甚麼意見呢？

I very much agree with you. My kid was being mislead to wrong classrooms for twice before the interview, this has already scared my kid. I also feel those interviewer was so inpatient when asking our kid to perform something.

I prefer Kentville more than SC, even my kid didn't do well in Kentville too, because it was more like an interview of Kentville's one.

I just felt that that may have a pre-view already before interview (let say, they may only pay attention to those kids have well-educated parents, smart & kids was born in early year of 2003...etc)

And then ask more details for those kids they focus.  For the teacher, I think that they might not enjoy to do the interview as the applications are really too too many.  So, they just ask & ask without any smile sometime.

My kid is 2 year & 8 month-old, we took only 5 minutes to finish the interview.

i feel they are ok. teachers standing at the queue are smiling. Maybe my time was ok, it was 12.15. I did not feel so hot and on the way, I spoke to my daughter and sang the song (they were playing over the loudspeakers) with her so that she is not bored. And maybe for me, I did not feel I have to wait so long. It was ok.  
First of all they had to cater to I think 1/2 of HKG's 2 yrs old and that's a feat.  At least unlike Kentville, they have teachers in a logical line to inform and welcome, so that's ok.
As for the interview, like all classes, it really depends on the teacher.  Mine was ok, gweimui, the puzzles and questions were quite logical and 'common', usual puzzles.  And the cups were ok cos I just explained to my daughter, shake it and she passed the one with the sound to the teacher even tho she did not play with it before.  
The tables for the interview were too close to each other though. Quite noisy but I simply shut off the other sounds and concentrated on the interview

擒日在 St. Catherine, 我只係排o左一陣隊拎張application form, 跟住有個老師已經叫我地入 waiting room 度等. 等大概15分鐘, 就到 interview.  

個 interviewer (西人), 好有耐性, 全場都有笑容, 感覺幾好.

老師都只係問o左我仔佢叫咩名, 幾多歲, 跟住就同阿仔玩 matching games. 至於隻杯果度, 我仔 shake 2下,
就比番有聲果隻杯個老師. 之後老師比o左包餅阿仔, 問我幾個問題, 我好快答完.... 走得. 成個 interview, 我估 5 -10 分鐘啦.

我星期五 11/11就帶個仔去sc interview, 入面真係好多人, 條龍又亂, 成個過程就要排1個鐘頭, 但interview既時間就10分鐘唔夠, 或者見完我個仔之後佢地係lunch break, 所有既test同你地講既一樣, 不過最後會問爹d媽咪對間學校有乜野期望, 我剩係諗, 佢室外既空間咁多, 大熱天時仔仔要係出面玩, 真係驚會中暑, 又唔知佢收生既要求係乜, 所以都對呢間學校有d失望

My experience in St. Cat was better then in Kent a lot. My son had the interview at 9:45. We did not need to wait. All the staffs in St.Cat was pleasant, including the interviewer.

我昨天帶個仔去interview時見d先生都好nice呀! 冇其他媽咪咁話黑口黑面. 可能depends on個先生啦!

我個仔interview完後個先生仲讚了他兩句,等我仲以為個仔有"行"tim. 但見jychan話個先生話下個星期就會有通知, 我諗我個仔都係fail多啦. 因為個先生同我話要12月底先有result.

其他媽咪, 個先生又點同你講呢?

係呢, 原來SC學費要$3XXX, 都唔平喎.

話時話, SC畢業我男仔多數會去邊間小學呢?

下? 乜係下星期有消息咩? 個老師都係同我講十二月尾果喎, 既然係咁, 咁仲好啦, 即係唔收多架喇, 咁可以叠埋心水繼續努力in其他幼稚園啦!
