absolute pitch 是泛指一個人能夠憑聽音就分辨該音的音名。

absolute pitch，以我所知是屬於音樂天賦的一種，但坊間有不少工具據說可訓練沒有 absolute pitch 變成有。

擁有 absolute pitch, 對於小提琴手來說是絕對優勢。

Anyway, most of greatest musicians have absolute pitch (AP) including my current teacher. While this is an advantage of learning music and music appreciation, please do not regard this as a privilege of genius nor child prodigy (as childish as what I thought some ten years ago).

I think the teacher would have more focus on aural training (ear training etc.). By the way, these 'absolute-pitch'ed guys would be fair to good sight-reader.

When I was small and accepted some students who have AP, I was really amazed. What I did is almost the same as your teacher. Now I don't expect a perfect-pitch (other name for AP) owner too much. The truly dedicated musician / student I admire is the one who is solely devoted to music making and this, has to be supported in line with trillion hours of practice be it piano or any other disciplines.

Your children possess perfect pitch. Congrats!
The ones who have long-term music training would not receive the talent. Next time, try C# and C. Probably they'll gape in black keys.

By the way, I don't think better Chinese language could 'improve' TECHNIQUE of perfect pitch. Perfect pitch is NOT a technique. Western people may have perfect pitch but they do not necessarily learn Chinese language.

有少少想補充....多d練下用violin比佢聽...因為聽慣鋼琴...可能準確度會好高...可能有d情況...小提琴會有些微差異>>>我個女之前就有少少咁啦

真係得嫁，中文（包括普通話及廣東話）係 tone language 黎，即係聽中文要聽埋 tone ，先至可以解到碼，例如【我見到媽媽】、【我見到馬馬】、【我見到(女麻)(女麻)】就唔同意思喇。

所以點解中國人之中擁有 perfect pitch 的會比外國人多就係咁解喇。其實大部份是後天的。 :wink:

以我所知，冇特別o既方法 可以 '訓練' 練到 perfect pitch o既, sorry. 而呢個 issue, 我不得不同意 fingers_party 提供o既 information 。

如果係得o既話, 大家不妨搵下冇 perfect pitch o既學生，d 中文讀好 d，睇下又得唔得... (又或者應該話大部份o既 mandarin speakers 都會有 perfect pitch 啦，大部份 = 起碼 75%) 我就唔係咁相信啦。mandarin speakers 數以億計，75% of mandarin speakers 都應該過億，咁即係話有成億中國人有 perfect pitch. haha, 原來我地祖國有成億 musical geniuses, 我而家先至知... 中國未來應該係(西方)音樂强國

我睇過你 refer o既 source, 或者我地應該為左小朋友 o既perfect pitch 而o係佢地 6 個月大至 18 個大o既時候，就學好 "中文"?

雖然我十分支持學好中文，學好母語或者任何一種語言其實都重要，

但最少唔係 '一定' 可以 '練' 到有 absolute pitch o既 '技巧'.

我信最多會訓練到o既係 half perfect pitch. 但 true perfect pitch 機會唔大。而且 hoba o既小朋友唔係 4 歲，亦已經有 absolute pitch, 可以點樣改善 '技巧' 呢?

我有好多 mainland o既學生，但冇一個有 perfect pitch o既。或者咁o岩我班學生係少數，而咁o岩 research 班學生係多數啦...

我反而信相反: musical ears 係輔助語言學習。
