已到交留位費於york,而啟思亦在考慮是否交留位費,
現在有點煩惱,希望各位幫忙比下意見,你地會點選擇,
因唔想間間交留位費

其實你覺得金巴倫係咪好過york??為何你交完york的報名費又去交金巴倫??你係咪聽過york的新聞、傳閒擔心??我其實已收了york通知信,但讀唔讀都拾五拾六,最擔心是會唔會真的有走鬼,因我個女以前讀的幼兒園真的試過走鬼去商場,諗起都驚！！同埋會唔會真的流失老師情況量很大,成日轉miss會跟唔上,你有否聽聞??我都有考慮過金巴倫,識人話都ok,Ｄ英文都唔差,but佢覺得Ｄmiss嚴肅咗Ｄ,但可惜只有上午班,不適合我!!現在我個女讀緊迦南幼兒園,你話值唔值得轉??我喜歡約克已英文作賣點,你呢??

Is it a must to go to SN in person to pay the "deposit"? Why do they arrange a weekday -- working day without considering the working parents??!!

Hello 各位:

我星期六日去int 完金巴倫, 今個星期會in St Catherine 同YORK, 我有以下的疑問:

我報讀以上這些熱門KLN TONG KINDERGARTEN, 主要都是希望入到附近D 名校, 而這些幼稚園都標榜佢哋D graduates 能入到這些學校, 但其實真正入到的比例有幾多呢? 例如: 劍嗚話去年有16%入喇沙, 8%入DBS; CCKG聽聞話有2X%入DBS 等等, 我在盤算其實  入唔到  target p school 嘅機會都幾大喎.

我同朋友傾起時, 佢話叫我唔好咁天真, 通常入到嗰d 都係有背景嘅小朋友, 例如爸媽係old boy/girl, 兄姊讀梗, 同一教會等等.    同時我媽咪識得個朋友試過: 專登讓小朋友入九龍塘幼稚園好似我咁稔住可以入到嗰d 心儀名校小學, 點知入唔到不特止仲被派位派咗去d將近殺校嘅屋村小學, 最終幾經人士才攪得返入去稍為好d 嘅學校, 好慘喲.

對於我呢d無背景嘅人o黎講, 我可以做d乜來令個小朋友入到心儀小學嘅機會大啲呢?

另外, 如果比你哋揀, 寧願摶一搏(i.e. 搏到就入名校, 但摶唔到有機會隨時唔知被叮去邊), 定係搵間普普通通但係有一條龍嘅學校呢?  請給意見.

I'm also interested to know which primary schools SN's students usually enter on completion of K3? Do they provide any assistance in parents's "doors-knocking" to primary schools, e.g. recommend some primary schools to parents, or arrange any mock interview, give advice to parents on choosing a suitable primary?

I recalled from the SN principal's speech of last year that the teachers will make tailor-made suggestions on the specific primary school(s) to the parents which the teacher, in her opinion, best fit the kid. She had also mentioned that they will keep the parents informed on the enrollment schedule of different primary schools (private).

SN is not a high profile school, they don't keep statistics on the distribution of their graduates. However the school released that their graduates also go to 油天、La Salle, Maryknoll, DBS, DGS, etc. But mind you that it is not surprising to find a portion of the many Kowloon Tong kinder students to go to well-famed primary schools.

I have a friend whose son spent his years in a famous Kln Tong kinder, aiming to go to La Salle, yet he was distributed to a school which she found totally unacceptable. Eventually she will have to do a lot of things in order to transfer her son to St. Joseph Primary School.  

For sure, under the existing system, the residential address, religious background, and parental relationship with the school really count, it's true! If you wish your kid to enroll a private or 直資小學, you should equip your kid with good presentation skills and knowledge!

I recalled that your kid is studying in SN.  Does he/she take the school bus? How long is the travelling time from TKO to Kowloon Tong?

For your info., my son gets on the schoolbus at 7:40 am while school starts at 8:45am; he returns home by 12:00 noon (school ends at around 11:30am).

my girl will study sn next year.... i want to know more about this kinder..... can you share with me? how many english lesson each week and how long.... and what the main language using in the lesson? Are the teachers nice or cool?

May I welcome you and your daughter to join the SN family    . Let me answer your question one by one :-
They have English lesson every day, each lesson lasts for 20 minutes. For your info., they have 3 potunghua lessons and 2 music lessons every week.
The local school teacher will communicate with the kids in both English and Cantonese.
My son's classteacher is very nice and gentle. She is patient to my son too.. But I think some SN teachers appear quite strict, but in fact they are quite good. Most of them have worked in SN for quite a long time!
