請問各位mammy知唔知到世貿會議在港舉行時，wanchai區的學校是否會停課？

Yes, my son study in St Joseph. School has announced that day is a school holiday.

may i know just the opening day or the whole period
will be the school holidays ?my son also study in St. Joseph but i have not receive the announcement from school regarding of世貿會議 .besides 13/dec is the holiday of day after HKSSF sports day.

Just the openning day on 12/13/05. School arranged the previous day as Sports day, so they could take the follow day as holiday to avoid the crowd. In fact, I heard many schools in Wan Chai area will off on that day. Police expects a lot of protest and parade. So, traffic will be very congested. You may check the school calendar on web.
