How do you know your kid is failed?  In fact, I have no expectation too.  I even didn't tell my daughter the name of the school when she went to the interview (so when the Principal asked her the name of the school, she just told her "sorry, I don't know!").  My hubby didn't come along with us when my daughter attended the 1st interview (he went to business trip on that day).  The Principle did ask my daughter who brought her to the interview!  It seems that my daughter would have been failed.
My daughter is not kind of "super smart" kid.  She does take part in music and drawing courses, but you know just like many kids do.  Our family is also a very "common" family.  We live in Kowloon east and I'm not a full time mom.   However, I should admit that she has a lovely face and sweet smile all the time and she did very well in K2.  I don't know if this is the reason.

Dear works, we will be attending the interview on October 31, 2005.

Dear Charlotte-mom,  Really thanks for your support.  In fact, it is really difficult to predict the kid's performance.  Just want to let you know that she didn't do well in other interviews!  Anyway, no matter what the result is, I think it is good experiance for me and my daughter.

Dear all,

Finished the 2nd interview yesterday.  Mixed feelings  arised.

The Principle is really nice.  No wonder my daughter said she is very kind.  During the interview, she just asked questions to parents but also "talk" to the kids.

Very simple questions asked (only 3 recall) but the questions are not direct questions like "why you choose this school? or what's the strength or weaknesses of your daughter? etc.".  I believe that the Principle really wants to know the family life of the kids.

We feel very confortable talking to the Principle, nothing like we are being asked questions (that's dangerous, right?)!

However, I found an "interesting" phenomenon.  There were about 8 pairs of parents with kids yesterday morning.  I noted that the kids including my daughter were in the same group during the 1st interview.  Is it a coincidence or some hints for the selection?

I know yesterday should be the 1st day for the 2nd interview.  Anyone know how many days will be taken for the 2nd interview?
