是否由#1開始睇好d？(我的意思是，會否好似magic key 咁, 最初會有個引子)

This series is designed for 6-10 years old western children.  If the child's English is very good, s/he can start reading it at 6 years old.  For HK students, I guess it is better to start at the second half of P.1 or P.2

There does not appear to be much connection between the books. Yet I do recall some references to the previous ones. So unless there are some special reasons, I would suggest starting from the first.

Every book is interesting and has some knowledge to learn. Of course, you may skip some topics that may bore or scare your child, such as the one about mummy.

我會試下比囡囡(一年級)睇, 佢學校的reader 好淺(每版得一,兩句), 我發現佢英文成績好的同學, 竟然能自己睇這套書, 但也有很多其他同學連read 簡單句子/ 認英文生字也有困難, 程度的差距很大。

Each of The Magic Tree House books has an independent story.  No need to read from 1, 2, 3.....
But inside each story, Jack and Annie visit different adventures, the author would write and mention something (like the creatures, places, etc) from the previous stories.  But it doesn't matter as long as you can still catch and follow the adventure.

I highly recommend The Magic Tree House book to the kids.  (My son has read #2 The Knight at Dawn and #31 The Summer Seapent) .  Hope you enjoy!

Nate the Great (dectective stories) is good for early primary kids.

You may let your kid try A to Z Mystery if his/her English level is competent.

Both series I mentioned are under special discount at Commercial Press at $100/4 books.
