真的嗎? 舊年都無此情況可能今年改o左, 之前是可以參加第一輪的. 是關維記d小朋友年年都好多入傳統名校小學可能太多流失罷.

Any BK mom will pay for the school fee as a deposit for holding the P1 seat in Victoria?? Due I sign the notice back to school aldy said that I will giveup the government central allocation on Jan. But it is difficult to decide whether I pay for the whole months of the school fee on coming Nov.....

Although u have signed the notice to fiveup gov central allocation, can u still go out to apply for other school privately?

Or is the notice means that U are committed to go to Victoria P1?

咁無用架!要自願,甚至仆倒黎先得架!就算放棄派位,都可以去直資、其他私校.....咁做,淨係令人髮指覺得好小家...好無聊.....好卑鄙.... :tongue:

Just remember. 舊年我都有簽, 其他家長(一班有大多數都簽o左), 因為可以參加第一輪同interview私校, 囝囝好多同學仔簽o左都入到其他理想的小學無留在維小, 而且舊年維小校長無"保証"留位比我地, 只係話一班28人只開4班, 收唔哂Kindy的學生. 你知啦無"保証"留位好驚到時至話太多人要Waiting. :-|

Tell you a trick, since the cheque will be a post-dated cheque, if at any time before next Jun that you decided to go to another school instead of Victoria, you can always stop the cheque. The cost is just some bank charges plus maybe few unhappy faces of Victoria.

我仔已上小一.上年有2個選擇:
1)First round簽咗就要放棄統一派位
2)Second round係学校公開招生時再入紙
Of couse 我選擇2,因為佢地一定有位剩.(我亦在開招生時
入圍)
因我仔派位不好需要叩門,等其他school通知同時,到6月佢地通知要交學費,我同school話唔係HK.就一直拖到約8月,而佢地都冇吹我去交.直到現在.

Firstly, thanks for every BK mom about your reply...By the way, I just got the notice from school about the news from the paper. They notice that the pre-pay procedure was been approved by government on last year already. If there is any more questions from the parents, just welcome to ask the principle without hesitate......(they are very efficient about the outside news....)

Secondly, Domanfans,
Just let you know that we are still able to apply for DSS or private school which didn't mention from their notice...

And Tzeyanmui,

The method that you mentioned are very good idea...Do you means that I have to make sure to record down the cheque number first for chase out later with the bank....????(You are so clever....)

　　(星島日報報道)明年的官津小一入學「自行分配學位」階段剛結束，另一邊廂的私立小學仍然積極收生，名牌維多利亞英文小學由於要預計開班人數及聘請老師，遂要求直屬的維多利亞幼稚園家長十一月表態是否入讀英文小學及承諾放棄統一派位，並提早三個月徵收五千多元註冊費，教統局已批准有關收費。

　　教統局發言人表示，維多利亞英文小學自二○○三年起已獲批准在學期開課前三個月，向學生收取相等於一個月學費的註冊費。維多利亞教育機構總校長孔美琪指，預先收取五千多元的註冊費，可讓學校更準確計算開班數目，以便聘請外籍教師，而註冊費將於學生入讀小一後用作繳交首月學費。

　　孔美琪說﹕「外籍教師要通過學術評審才可在港任教，過程需時，提早收取費用，可準確點預計開班人數，早些決定教師數目，對老師都公平些。」

　　孔美琪補充，現時屬下幼稚園學生可申請免試升讀維多利亞英文小學，家長於十一月或以前要繳交五百五十元「初步註冊費」，並簽下「意向回條」，承諾放棄明年一月舉行的統一派位，否則，學生只可於明年五月和其餘申請學生競逐餘下約一成學額。同意升讀維多利亞英文小學的家長，最遲明年六月一日要繳交五千多元註冊費。

I knew that many vic. kids aleady got accepted to DSS or private schools before January, their parents have to sign a similar letter to government when they take up the DSS seats.
