your bb is so called small boy/girl, should be k1 student in 9/2007, from my limited knowledge, here below are some good kindergartens in hk side:
聖保祿幼稚園（男女)
victoria international
靈糧堂
聖若瑟幼稚園
聖士提反女子中學附屬幼稚園（男女）
嘉諾撒聖心幼稚園（男女）
香港真光幼稚園（男女)
聖公會幼稚園(中環)(男女)

I think you can go to library to borrow books introducing kindergartens, and go to government web site for education, where you can find technical datas. Actually you can arrange visits to the kindergarten you like and talk to the staff there.
