The interview was unprofessional at all.  When my daughter did interview (international nursery section) there, she was only 19 months old.  She could not speak a lot yet but I have been putting her in English playgroup offered by an international school since she was 14 months.  The playgroup was 3 times a week.  She could understand simple English but not really wanted to respond even she understood your questions.

After some "tests," the teacher talked to me,"she seems not understand English.  What are you going to do if she is admitted?"  That is ridiculous!  First, how can they be sure my daughter really does not understand English?  Second, should it be their responsibility of telling me what they can do to enhance my daughter's English and suggest me what I can do? Third, the teacher also told me a lot of administrative stuffs, such as how to get financial aid from the Government(Gee, they even did not look at my profile to see whether I am eligible for such benefits), what to do when the black rainstorm signal is effective, etc.  Well, what's the reason on earth you tell me your adminstration even you are not admitting my kid?

So far, Tivoli is the worst I've ever applied.  I finally sent my daughter to an international school that is outside Tsing Yi area.  She can speak both Cantonese and English.  Therefore, it is not the problem of my daughter but their method in judging kids.  I always think that kids have great potential to learn.  If they reject a kid because he/she cannot so-called understand some English, I don't think they are good educators for small children because they put too much focus on what a kid knows now instead of his/her potential.

我個女現正於宏褔讀國際班n1,我報讀ge原因只是希望小朋友多接觸英文,講真interview時我都唔多鍾意間學校,不過因為囡囡話鍾意個teacher&學校,而行入學校後我又發現teacher對讀緊ge學生都好有心,我至比囡囡讀,囡囡於入讀前基本上都會明白英文,vocabulary會講好多,但唔會全句講,或者佢明白我講乜,但會用中文答,因為可能佢知道我地識聽同講廣東話,但佢返左三個月學之後,現在不但會主動同我講英文,仲會係用句子,一連串咁講,我每次問我囡囡返學開唔開心,佢都會話開心,鍾意,這已達到我的要求

Thanks for your reply.  at home, i always speak in Cantonese with my daughter, if I apply the International class, is it difficult for kid???  

After N1, do you apply K1 international class in next year?
