各位好,

請問有沒有小朋友讀靈糧堂幼稚園, 聽說這學校是活動教學,很少功課做? 小朋友很活潑,開朗. 但上k1能否適應?

當然大部份家長會在家中自己教小朋友串字或寫字。

Do you know wether the school bus will pick up kids from Taikoo Shing?  I would like to apply this school for my boy.

We live in TKS. My son (now is P3) was studied in Ling Leung. Now my daughter (now is K3) also studing there. It is very convenient. She together with other students take school bus. There are few stops.

My daughter study K2 in Ling Leung (Lam Tin), there is best for the kid to develop thinking and active.  My daughter in K1 and told me the different voice for "white" and "write", it is like a same, I think that is a good learning in Ling Leung, the thinking development is very important than the kid can write more word today.

Thanks a lot for your info.  Since your son was graduated from LL and your girl studies in LL now, may I ask for your advise for this school...

-- both of your kids are happy with the LL school life?
-- the English standard is okay?  To be honest, any difficulty for your boy to adapt in P1?
-- How's your boy's classmates, they all studies in the good primary school now?

1. Trust me! Children study in LL are happy and smart; but a little bit talkative.
2. To be true, English standard is just acceptable when u compared with some schools which strongly emphazied. My son adapted to new environment very fast (even when he changed to another primary school this year); although u will encounter difficulties at the beginning (Sep and Oct) since they have to learn to write copy books. In LL, students learn many words but do not have many handwritings.
3. U can go to the school web site. They have announcements. (www.lingliang.org.hk)

小女於靈糧就讀，現已K3，由於是活動教學，功課真的很少，K2才開始做功課，上課時主要為實習如科研，英語，認字等，他們上課時很開心，而且主動，老師也很細心就連家長也可以看到的細心`。但若要求完成幼稚園後懂串字，作文等較高要求`，那就可能不適合了

其實幾年前, 幫囡囡搵幼稚園, 我無報LL, 雖然好多人話佢好, 亦好多人爭, 但無得直升小學呢個問題, 就令我好頭痛, 所以最後我揀左一間有得直升小學既俾囡囡
出年輪到個仔喇, 我煩緊應該俾佢3歲入LL, 定係讀多一年nursery, 四歲入st. joseph呢? 因為聽聞st. joseph小一多位, 去叩門時, 通常幼稚園生都入到....
唔好介意我問得咁直接: 其實, LL既學生, 係咪真係考私小時(或者津校叩門時)都真係好似傳說中咁樣, 好受歡迎呢

Lam Tin 靈糧堂幼稚園 is my first choice for my boy. Is it easy to get it? I just wonder if my boy can enter this school or not?

My daughter entry LL (Lam Tin) in last year, she had interview on 27 Aug 2004 and the first day started her school life on 1 Sep 2004.  My daughter and me are interview with teacher about 30 minutes, and then LL accepted my daughter after this interview, I mean that we completed interview and accepted by school at same time. she is a urgent case to change a kindergarden.  I think LL (Lam Tin) that is good development for my daughter in thinking and active. My daughter entry K1-PM in last year and it is only 11 students in this class.

It was so good that they accepted you straight away after the interview.
No matter what I will try to apply this Kindergarten.
Just one more question, have your daughter studied N1 before? As I am just thinking whether I will let my boy to study N1 or just go to playgroup before go to K1.

I want my daughter to studied N1 before K1 actually, when I apply N1 time that is SAR in HK, so she had not studied N1,  she only joined summer playgroup before K1. I think she is no problem in K1.

my daughter learn in HK Lingliang School K3, she study this schol very well and the main point is the teacher is very good to handle the kids, she in k1 she dont like talking , but now she very like to talk and the teacher give talking in the school hall , so problem in this school

我想請問靈糧堂幼稚園升小學大多是那些小學？
因我也很喜歡這間幼稚園，我們住藍田，區内有名的小學不多，担心個女升小一報考較academic或有名的小學時很難入，請有經驗的妈妈分享吓。唔該！
