1)  我想知自己的住址是那一區校網, 方便選校, 如何查證?

2)  申請學校要提供住址証明, 是否一定要水電煤氣單? 手提電話單或住宅電話單可以嗎?

如何知道自己住的地點是那一區小學校網:

只有教育司署可官方証實地址屬於那個中小學校網。

非官方的，依據住址查詢小學校網，可到以下的網頁，跟隨下述步驟查詢:

進入互聯網，輸入此網址 (或直接按下述的網址)

http://www.centamap.com/cent/index.htm

在此網頁的左下角 「資 料 查 詢」的範圍內按著 scroll bar 向下拉，找著 「社會服務」隔鄰的 「教育進修 (及校網)」這組字，並用滑鼠指著這組「教育進修 (及學網)」這組字及按一次下去

跟著網頁左下角將會轉變，會看到 「搜尋所屬小一學校網」及「請輸入住宅地址 (中英文均可)」，請在其下的空白輸入格內鍵入你所查詢的地址，跟著按其右的「搜尋」鍵，例如 : 輸入 淘大花園 A座 或 amoy gardens block A ，據經驗輸入英文地址在搜尋上比較快和容易

跟著網頁左方會出現 「共 1 個樓宇紀錄」，和「小學網」這組字，請用滑鼠指著這組字並按一下

網頁左方內容會轉變，顯示所查詢地址的小學校網編號，該小學校網所覆蓋的範圍，和該網內的小學名稱.

Relying on the web information is dangerous.  You need to be very careful because buildings on the opposite side in the same street/road may belong to a different school net.

For example, if you intend to move to Kowloon Tong to enhance your chance in choosing schools within Net 41 in the 'lucky draw', you must pay attention that only buildings on the right side of Waterloo Road heading towards Lion Rock Tunnel is the right choice, as buildings on the left side in the same road and direction are within Net 38.

Another more tricky example is buildings on the left side along Prince Edward Road near Kowloon City are within Net 41, whereas buildings on the right side of Prince Edward Road are in Net 34.

Parents who decide to move solely because of school net issue should confirm the exact target address (using the name of the street/road and number) with the Education and Manpower Bureau (as I did) or otherwise a fatal mistake can be made.
