By the way, are you planning to send your child to CIS or local primary afterwards?

I am such a late planner – my son is now waitlisted on all our favourite kinders/nursery…

Actually our first choice is St. Paul Co-ed.  But the competition is so keen.  We have little confidence that our son can get a seat.  So we will see if we can get him into the reception class of the better international schools after K2.  If he is not accepted, he will continue his K3 and try his luck again at the local elite school.  

I don’t know if it is going to work or not, but in order to do this I must get him into a kinder with strong English and Chinese.  That’s why I choose BH.

CIS is a very good school.  It is our no.2 choice.  If our son is lucky enough to be accepted by CIS, we are too happy to stay with it.   

I cannot think of anything that you must do now – I think you will take very good care of your child like every mother does.  Take your baby outdoor, to more playgroups and to meet people.  It may help.

BH is a nursery so kids start when they are 2. Therefore you need to apply very early on, usually when bb is only a few months old.

Does anyone know where BH is moving to?

Gisele: 留意聖公會幼稚園 ~ 鐵崗 & 畢拉山 ~ open day on 畢拉山 campus on Oct 22,  Application form pick up Oct 29.   this school as added more english sessions (20 mins) each day.   Principal is eager to upgrade the school and make students more competitive.

我收到張form.  裡面問我想報边一班:

上午中文班(兩歲)
下午芵文班(兩歲)
雙語言班(三歲至六歲)


我以為佢哋係billigual, 點解分中文同芵文.?

you may consider chinese am class. BH is famous in the chinese class. It's very popular and diff to get in. although all classes is in chinese except one english in the afternoon (~11:30-14:30).

The school teaches Chinese in Cantonese but not Mandarin.Does this help to get into CIS?

聖公會都有十幾個, 維記都好似十個左右.......
