除左睇youtube，仲要睇香港既做法、進展，同埋世界對香港既做法，包括官員、國會既言行以及歷史既做法再自行判斷。

英國移民數目大增, 政策可以好快改變, 2月19日就即時停了烏克蘭的家庭移民計劃, 但bno visa 為英國引入人材和錢財, 政策似乎傾向寬鬆, 前排有討論過大學可交 local fees 和開放至97後出生但父母無bno的孩子

好多係一厢情願，只是有人拋出議題，成事機會微乎其微。 净係講大學local fee， 就算本身係英國人都要符合居住條件先可以畀local fee( 印象中係入大學前要連續喺英國居住三年)， 而且有時做人唔好要求太過份， 如果本身真係冇喺英國住交过税或付出过乜嘢貢獻， 點解一去人哋嘅地方就要攤大手板攞咁多嘢， 將心比己其實係好討厭， 我都唔想香港人喺英國變得咁黑人憎

不是全部提議也是移英港人提出, 有些係當地議員, 因為睇到香港環境變化

UK also has 環境變化 too, food costs rising, salary can't catch up, lacking rental houses etc. People are struggling in uk even professional city workers.


It will be super nice if uk gov will allow foreigners and non uk residents to pay local fee in uni. However, the question is if it is really feasible, fair and workable? While a lot of councils are about to go under, where is this extra money to fund foreigners coming from?


The government pays around £22 billion to fund the education of each cohort of around 480,000 England-domiciled full-time undergraduate students studying anywhere in the UK.


For most English-domiciled students, all of this funding is initially provided by the taxpayer.


If you have already taxed quite substantially all throughout your life in uk, do you think anyone who is born and raised in uk will be happy to pay more just to fund poor (or rich ) foreigners' university education?


There were 78,768 asylum applications (relating to 97,390 people) in the UK in the year ending June 2023. I don't think the gov can cope, hence the Rwanda scheme even it was controversial.


Four out of 10 UK students are being rejected by elite universities in favour of overseas candidates who pay up to £24,000 a year - as school leavers face scramble for places after A-level results this week


University is in need of foreigner funds.


I do hope uk gov and universities can subsidy hong kong students uni fee in uk using taxpayers money. If that happens, a lot more hong kong kids will go to uk for sure to enjoy such benefits.


On the other hand, how about EU students in uk? They are closer and many of them have family link in UK for generations. Should they also allow local fee too? Although, the gov has just cancelled their fee status.


"New EU students starting in 2024/25:


Following the UK's exit from the European Union, if you're an EU, EEA or Swiss national, starting a course at a UK University, you will no longer be eligible for the same fees as UK students. You'll pay the same fees as an international student."

真係唔好太一廂情願，大家有乜要求想向政府提出，通常係搵自己選區議員見面，請佢哋寫信俾相關部門，回應選民要求都係議員工作之一，每日都有議員向唔同部門提出唔同要求及查詢，一樣有議員提出削減移民數字！而家好多同港人比較多接觸嘅本地人都好醒，會知道見到香港人唔好亂咁講嘢，最常見係少咗人當面叫港人做Chinese ，個樣好似好熟悉香港咁，但其實好多都唔清楚香港及BNO visa係乜，事實上其他國際新聞比香港問題更吸引眼球！但就見到好多移民係由香港嗰度嚟，同埋有D傳媒報道方式都引渡咗平民百姓點䏲香港移民，都唔理係邊度嚟，總之就係嚟咗好多新移民，哩個先係影響佢哋生活嘅大問題。記住平民百姓就係一張張好實在嘅選票，佢哋先係議員要討好嘅首要對象。人道、人才、經濟係好重要，但選票永遠凌駕於一切，所有政策、官員及議員行動，最終目的都係為咗要令佢哋背後政黨下屆可以執政咋，當然移英港人都有投票權，但影響力有幾大？

有心諗住咁樣做最好問移民律師，冇案例只有空談，除非呢度有呢方面嘅專業人士

個人認為，如果用BNO VISA讀書讀足5年，又冇犯法，只要符合永居要求，冇理由唔批永居。

不過，那些父母自身不在英國，只讓年幼子女持bno visa獨自在英國讀書的(不論state/private)，的確與英國條例有抵觸， 萬一被揭發，後果可能非常嚴重的。

有youtuber提醒, 5年期是由bno visa 發出日計, 由發出日至抵達英國日期計離開英國日子, 所以計首12個月離開英國日子,記得計埋未抵英國日子
