在英國boarding school就讀申請英國大學英語要求

我小朋友year 9起在英國讀書（boarding ）,GCSE英文9,來緊報UCAS。剛在另一帖見到有分亨，話英國大學仍要求此類學生有ielts成績,嚇親我,因為冇唸過,我小朋友完全冇準備,想問問大家咁個情況，係咪通常都要有ielts的要求?

Grade 9 in English，好叻啦。唔洗自己嚇自己呀，準備上Year 12嘅學生，通常已有初步想讀的學科心水，叫孩子上網搵幾間大學requirements 睇睇即可。

GCSE 英文有9夠晒報大學啦，一般要6啫，無6或以上咪要考其他IELTS果D。

以我這幾年，包括睇住今年入讀的考生經驗知道，GCSE英文成績係top grade的香港身份學生報考英國大學依然需要提交ielts 成績，身邊三個GCSE英文9分並已完成UCAS旅程的孩子都需要提交ielts成績，曾有uni 係出CO前已經催她upload ielts 成績.  成績要求看各大學收生要求都有列明.

Ielts係英國、香港都容易安排考試，睇什麼時間方便考左先啦

又係我我哋都準備Year 12暑假考咗先，怕大學依然要求，臨時去考就煩

原來系甘，我見我仔報果5間大學寫住要GCSE 6 或IELTS 7 ，我仔考GCSE得5，所以一定要用其他英文成績。

認同早D考，免得好似我仔甘Y13先考，聖誕節考一次唔過，復活節再考又唔過，跟住考完A Level返香港考左4次先得，想死。

真系早D考，考到我仔話算啦，唔考啦去Insurance果間算啦，好彩最後果次OK咋。

認同早d考好，就怕考試日不是狀態日，吖女有同學英國考2次，香港考2次，考到8月初！人都麻木了，CO在手了，如果放榜 CO met 但ielts未夠分，咁就好唔抵了，我聽到都鄧佢捏把汗

會唔會關係考 Eng as 1st lanuguage 同 as 2nd language 事呢？就算考as 1st language 都要補交IELTS 嗎？

例如我見LSE要求IGCSE eng as 1st language Grade 6就可以 ，這樣都需要補交IELTS嗎？

真係有啲意外,我囝gcse考兩科英文,兩科都9,所以完全冇留意大學英文要求！佢來緊year13,成個暑假都hea咗,如果早知,等佢暑假預備下都好！而家唯有返到英國再報考！

其實係要睇你報GCSE 邊個exam board, 不過IGCSE 就一定要考ielts

我仔剛過yr 12, 佢去年GCSE ENGLISH 是9(second lang)
今年暑假前大概5,6月個時學校巳經安排左考ielts 了，成績都出埋了啊

樓主你不用擔心，你仔英文有9， 底子很好，平時既功力去考就得。

我女學校好積極安排準備考大學，冇提過要考Ielts, 所以我女深信不用考，佢話一班舊同學Y9過來的（各自在不同學校）都冇考。我上網睇過類似你找到的，不過我有提醒阿女必要時要後補Ielts｡

我就係知道一個真實的 ，是大學Offer 一直沒講要ielts , UK boarding school 老師又話他Y7 入讀 ， 不用考的 ， 直到放榜 達到UCAS firm choice , 滿心歡喜， 卻收到大學要求提交ielts ,  因為回覆了未考， 但大學set了個限期 要提交，否則當放棄 ，結果我就是有份幫他上不同國家搵ielts , 移民考試資料
