日校生為主 讀日校是不錯的選擇
寄宿的話有寄宿比例較高的其他選擇

英國學校梗係主要行British system，IB選擇少係正常喎。如果你係搵IB MYP programme更加唔使諗，基本上都只有國際學校有提供。

有限會提供IB嘅傳統英式寄宿學校，絕大部分都只係提供IBDP兩年嘅課程，所以Y9入學都係要先讀3年GCSE課程，之後先會喺最後兩年sixth form（year 12/13）提供IBDP。英國學校嘅睇法就係MYP年嘅課程唔夠rigorous，亦唔提供公開考試冇咗獨立認證嘅證書，所以一般唔會提供。

如果你係追求IB MYP課程，留喺香港把啦。如果唔計較先讀GCSE再轉IBDP，咁都有啲選擇。當然去英國寄宿，我個人認為梗係寄宿體驗先係重點，所以全寄宿比例亦係至為重要嘅考慮。要有高全寄宿比例嘅傳統英式寄宿中學又要有IBDP選擇，有：Rugby, Charterhouse, Wellington College, St Edward's呢啲的確都唔易考。

冇樣嘢同寄宿生活有關係

當年和女兒一起選擇學校時，真的沒有想太多，我們一起看着每所學校的歴史、IB成績，再利用排除法，排除女校、不想去的地方等，最後落籍 Ardingly 。而我們也相信：一所校譽及成績上乘的學校，總不會把宿舍管理得一敗塗地吧？

當日出席女兒畢業典禮前，也順道參觀宿舍，看著她和好友、舍監、matrons 的互動，聽著她娓娓道來男女宿生持續一年的桌球爭奪戰，我很慶幸我們由心出發，讓女兒擁有優質的中學生活，好好準備下一站大學。而之前我提到畢業典禮中各個出眾的學生，真的讓我眼界大開呢！

多謝你的資訊，我會找時間了解一下這些學校的。我仔似乎係文人，對理科冇興趣，考A-level不比IB著數。

如果冇需要IB MYP，只係aim for IBDP，咁當然算有少少選擇。不過真係要記住Y9-11係會考GCSE，唔係IB style嘅教學。當然，去英國讀書根本就唔同喺香港讀書。就算喺英國讀GCSE唔等同IB，亦唔同香港讀DSE，再加上寄宿嘅活動，我認為肯定會開心過喺香港。

我噚啲，又講一次個人意見。去英國寄宿，其實寄宿先係重點。一間學校「成績」好唔好，同佢提供嘅寄宿體驗、pastoral care、甚至宿舍管理完全冇關。我認為全寄宿比例高，係其中一樣選校嘅重點（我嘅邏輯你可以睇翻我啲日誌去了解）。我冇話寄宿比例低嘅學校係唔好嘅學校，但係有得揀呢樣我個人認為要揀越高越好。

Y9去，揾間有A level/IB雙軌制sixth form嘅傳統英式寄宿學校，仲有三年時間慢慢諗。我認為用「文」人或者「理」人去劃分適合IB或者A level太過簡單化。當然如果好明顯係「理」人又唔喜歡寫文，確實讀IBDP係蝕底啲，但掉返轉又未見得係必然。可能有「文」人都唔特別喜歡寫文，有啲可能有某啲科特別喜歡（例如歷史）根本只想專注鑽研，有啲可能覺得第二語言，tok，ee係distraction等等。所以A level揀三科文科簡單直接冇煩惱。
