35 is really bad. For ESF, the average is like 38 or above.

HK Academy 40+% and Average
amongst international schools ...

本人新手IB家長，小朋友剛完成第一年IB小學課程。弱弱一問，如果取唔到diploma, 請問係唔係冇下一年retake呢樣野？請問一般有啲咩後路？是否報foundation 再駁上大學咁樣？謝謝

IBDP 可以 retake
最好問學校是否可以原校重讀

剛完成第一年唔洗咁早想定，享受下同孩子分享學習過程先。

真的要問學校有無安排retake, 身邊無咁嘅例子

What ? 13.3% with 40 + or above ?
I m not trying to compare it with SPCC or DBS with like 90 % above 40 +, and an average of 43, as only one third of students from those schools are picked to attempt IB.

Still, HKA is not a free school. It costs 20K per month.

It is a school for those with no FP and absolute no other choices.

Or else, for thar kind of money, I rather send my kid to study overseas.

HKA is a non selective and highly inclusive school, my friend who works there said there are relatively more SENs and the teacher : students ratio is higher than other IS.

If a candidate is unsuccessful in earning the diploma, are they eligible to attend university?

In order to find out if a candidate/graduate is eligible for admission into a university, they should check admission requirements with individual universities directly.

Can any subjects be retaken? Can retake subjects only be taken in the school where the candidate originally tried to obtain the diploma?

If a candidate wishes to retake a subject, he/she can do this in any future examination session and at any IB World School offering the Diploma Programme. However, there are restrictions that apply so he/she must consult with the DP coordinator at the school where he/she wishes to register. In addition, an IB World School is under no obligation to accept retake candidates. You can find IB World Schools here.
