Anyone got news on ESF Year 7 call waiting?

KGV Year 7 may be a little hard at this stage I believe without priority because both CWBS and KJS Year 6s will all be going to Year 7 at KGV plus other ESF Year 6 who may want KGV as well particularly now that there are no zones. Year 9 or higher may be a little easier as students start going abroad.

Understand KGV don’t have lots of vacancies for year 7 as KJS and CWBS both direct promote to KGV. If current year 6 students at (e.g. BHS as their secondary should be Island) other ESF schools do have priority over those from other schools who have passed interviews and on reserved waitlist, then the chance maybe slim. Thanks!

I am not sure when the no school zone will start, but there are definitely Year 6 in other ESF schools that will request KGV by reasons of sibling, staff, alumni. Good luck, you never know!

To my understanding, reserved waitlist candidates wouldn’t be interrupted by those who are interviewed after them. So the zone free policy would not affect those who are on list now. But if the candidate has not been interviewed yet, his/her chance maybe lowered once the zone free policy is imposed.
